A red haired man with brown eyes came over the horizon. His mission was nearest success he just needed to get the drugs to Leonardo his boss. He looked at his watch and smiled. It was 5 AM. His baby would still be at home sleeping. He could slip in and lay down next to her and she would get up at 8 AM as usual. He was so happy that he hadn't noticed the car that pulled from the left behind them.

Hey Leo I'm almost to you. Get the guys ready to get this out to our people. He pounded down on the gas flying across the open countryside. Wisconsin's great fields on his left and right. It was quiet as it was still early. The only people I imagine will be out right now would be truck drivers getting their own stuff to the farms who in their own right was desperate to receive.

His radio static he spoke. So how was the journey? It wasn't Leo. He looked surprised that it is a continued speaking. It was meant to be that easy huh? Slipping among my ranks like a shadow. I will find you. And when I do you're done.

Nick turned the channel. He shuddered shook it off and all but ignored it the black car was coming up fast he saw a trees on his left then a small village sign saying lone rock. Coldest place with the warmest heart.

Yeah as a child he had felt that. The nicest people in the school he was from were from Lone Rock. He was coming up to a couple trucks ahead return to the passing lane and put his arm out to signal he was coming around them. He came back to the right with the washing noise it will be another mile or so before he came to the bridge that he would find himself to the left on his way to Madison Wisconsin.

He saw a black car come past the truck behind them. It hon does it almost slam to the front of the truck coming up. He saw a man with brown hair and green eyes and someone else. The other man reached out the side of the window with his body and started shooting at them. A bullet slapped against the road with a spark.

Nick looked down with a groan. Damn that was close'! he thought. OK motherfuckers if you want to play it that way?

He reached back into his bag that was on the seat behind him of the bike. He pulled out a sawed off shot gun looked ahead and steadied his hand and reached back. He aimed at the side of the car and shot.

The bullet hit the front metal and bounced off. He cocked the gun again and aimed again. The bridges cold grey metal was coming up as he saw the ahead, slowing himself with ease.

He fired another shot and this time hit the front mirror. Fuck. He reloaded and as he aimed a bullet flew as if in slow motion from the side of the car through the air and hit him in the chest. He breathed slowly seeing the driver and the sudden burst of pain. He aimed and hit the driver in the face as the car reared to the right.

He looked ahead at the end of the bridge two green lights and a wall against the hill. He started slowing the bike. He stopped and looked behind as the cars cornered him.

"Well well Nick", came a cold voice. A hardened voice of a man. Older. "I guess this is how it ends for you",

"Look I just did what I was told", said Nick.
"Nothing more nothing less",

"Like a lapdog", very good lapdog",

Nick looked at the man and shook his head laughing slightly. "Fuck you",

"No fuck you, your operation has been harnessing a lot of attention I didn't need", we're trying to get some stuff done and you meddling into affairs you have no business isn't helping. We're trying to save the world and you want to steal from us",

"Your trying to take over", said Nick. He spit on the ground as the man raised his gun. I will stop you at all stretch of the imagination. You sick fuck",

"Well it's no longer your issue is it"? Said the man. He fired the gun. Nick fell to his knees breathing hard, he felt the bullet in his chest as he looked up at the man.

"You won't win", said Nick. Another bullet was shot and he fell to the ground. His head smashed against the pavement. Blood pooled across the grass and the ground.
