"I hate that man Tom", Said Jerri. She left out from Leo's office. The air was crisp and warm. The rain was dying down. She looked out at the water of Lake Winnebago. "So sick and tired of these people not paying their end of our drug shipments".

So what's gonna happen now"? Asked Tom. He looked back at Leo who was still talking inside with J.

"He's gonna give them a choice". Said Jerrica. She went to the side of Toms car. He opened his side. "Anyway let's go get some food and chill out near the beach".

He got in and pulled out. The clanging sound he normally heard was muffled at the moment by the music on the radio.

'Who is this', he thought.

He continued out of the drive and onto the main road.

Later....
Jerrica looked over at Tom as He pulled up to the beach.

"You know I was really glad you decided to come with me. Especially after the last time I didn't think you would be down anymore".

"Eh that didn't scare me",Said Tom. He smiled turning to the right. Boats sat up ahead off the lake. "Ya know my grandpa used to live up here. Before he died, he talked about bringing me up here with him".

Did you ever go with him up here. It's really nice and the water is pretty". Asked Jerrica.

"Nah my mom said he was a abusive man, And when I was really young I remember him threatening to beat me". Said Tom.

"Oh I'm sorry, Just up here". She pointed to a brown building on the dock a bit. He saw an open window and a man selling stuff.

Tom pulled up and went into park. Should I wait here"? he asked. He felt a breeze come through the window.

Yeah just for a moment". I can handle this. She brushed her blond hair over her shoulders and put it up. Her pale face was wet with sweat making her glow in the afternoon sun. He smiled and nodded. She reached over and wrapped her arm around his head and kissed him.

He felt her soft lips and tongue wrap his and he felt exhilerated. He kissed her back and then she pulled away. She smiled at him. He felt sweat beading his brow.

"Be right back". She spoke. He nodded smiling ear to ear. God he felt like an idiot. He shook it off and looked forward at her blue jeans as she went 'ok look up', he thought. He didn't want to.

He saw her go to the back of the little building and open the door.

'Why didn't he ever come up here', he thought.  He saw boats zooming on the lake and a man attached to the back. He saw people dining at the little deck ahead.

Food and drinks being served on the left. 'Man I should see what kind of burgers they got'. he thought. He pulled out his cigarettes and lit one.

She came back and came to his window. "Hey", he spoke. She leaned on the car door and looked at him. Blond green eyes and had red lipstick on.

"So I was wondering would you want to come on a boat ride with me, we have a deal on the other side of the lake anyway and i really wanted to get out on the water today, maybe we could grab some food and take it with us".

That sounds great". She was excited opening his door, he fell a little forward getting out and stopped himself before he sprawled onto the ground. He straightened up. "Let's go then", smiling at her.

They set a boat in the water next to the docks. Tom smiled as Jerrica climbed in. They started rowing out.

Have you ever gone sailing"? She asked. He shook his head.

"No it's definitely a first", he listened to the trees rustle as they went onto the lake. People were partying at a couple houses on the left.

The water was pretty. Tom felt this insane confidence overcome him. she looked at him and smiled.

"I love this", she spoke. He nodded.

"I'm definitely enjoying getting away from it all for a bit",
