Grim woke up next to his girlfriend Tiana, they lived in a small house in the woods of Alaska, alone together. Their relationship was a good one, sure they had those times where they'd fight or get into an argument or occasionally go on dangerous adventures sparking some new argument, but no matter what they still loved each other. The important thing was, no matter the problem, big or small, they would always love each other the same as they did before. The only thing to be said about the relationship they have is that it's weird compared to most relationships, being the fact that Grim was older then the human race and was the Son of Death, and Tiana was only 19 years old, mortal, but had magical powers.
Grim soon got up and tried not wake Tiana, he left the room and went to make his average morning cup of coffee. Grim didn't know why but something felt strange about today, he for some reason couldn't remember the day prior to now, he shrugged it off and decided it'd be something he'd talk about later with Tiana. When he eventually finished his cup of coffee he went and sat down in the living room by the television, seeing as Tiana wasn't up he decided to mix some alcohol from his flask into the coffee so Tiana wouldn't notice he was drinking again. He turned on the TV and put the volume to a reasonable amount and relaxed as he waited for his girlfriend to wake up.
A few hours later Tiana finally woke up and looked for her boyfriend Grim, she found him in the living room and decided to cuddle up next him since she really loved to cuddle him. Grim looked down at her and said "Good morning love of my never ending existence", she replied by saying "Same to you love of my magical mortal life" as she slightly giggled. As he looked through channels he eventually asked her "So how did you sleep?", she responded and said "not to well, had some trouble sleeping...you?", Grim scratched his head and said "Well it was the way it's been for awhile now, no dreams just long darkness and dead silence". Hearing this upset Tiana a little, she didn't like it when stuff like this happened so she decided to lighten the mood and said "so is that why I smell booze on your breath?", to which Grim said "Christ, can I not get away with anything?", they both laughed together and held each other close.
Later on Grim remembered how he forgot to ask Tiana what happened yesterday, he looked at her and said "Hey by the way T....do you remember what happened yesterday? because I personally don't remember anything.", Tiana looked at him and said "Grim you should know I'm not the best person to ask, I have a bad memory", Grim nodded his head feeling stupid. Later on they got bored and decided they'd watch a scary movie, something still felt off to grim though, he started feeling uneasy and like he should probably keep his distance from Tiana in case he threw up, he explained to her how he was feeling and she went to fetch him some medicine, she sat a little farther away from him and since she couldn't cuddle him she went and got a plush to hold. Grim stared at her, she eventually noticed and said "what are you looking at?", he replied and said "you because you look so cute when you hold a stuffed toy...", she threw the toy at him and they got into a playful fight throwing pillows and such at each other from afar, but something still felt strange.
