Grim slowly got up, he didn't know where he was, he looked around and saw cacti and assumed he was in a dessert, along with the cacti he saw smoke. Grim soon turned around to find a house up in flames, he thought to himself "What the fuck is going on, where am I!?", inside of the house he could see a skull mask burning and melting on a table. He then noticed two people inside struggling to get out because what looked like a female had her leg trapped under a burning piece of wood, Grim noticed the man helping her pulled out an axe and got ready to chop at her leg, Grim thought he could help them so he tried to walk in, but the man had already swung his axe, Grim yelled out "No wait!" as the man swung, and before it could hit, Grim woke up in bed.
Grim had caught himself before he could scream so he wouldn't wake up Tiana, he thought to himself "What was that dream, and what did it mean?", he got up to see the skull mask he always wore on the table, he picked it up and put it on. After that dream Grim knew he wouldn't be sleeping again anytime soon, he looked at the clock which read 4:47 am, he didn't know why but something told him to go outside and take a walk, but with how dark it was and how sketchy he felt, he decided not to. For some strange reason he didn't want his normal morning cup of coffee, so he went and took a energy drink out of the fridge, then went to turn on the TV. The first thing to pop up was the news they were talking about a masquerade that the royal family would be throwing, the reporter said it'd be "The time of everyone's life" .
A few hours later Tiana woke up and walked out to the living room, she looked at Grim and said "Why are you wearing your mask?", he replied by saying "Because I always wear it?", Tiana seemed confused and said " No you don't, I thought you destroyed that thing?" Grim confused as well said " I thought you always liked the mask?", this seemed to offend her and she said to him "no I hate the mask, I want to see your face, because I fell in love with you, not a mask...". Grim Eventually took his mask off understanding why she wouldn't want him wearing the mask, he didn't know why he thought she liked it, he decided to go and put it under the bed they shared, he went and hugged Tiana while saying "Sorry about that babe...", she then hugged him back saying "It's fine.". They soon both forgot about what happened and sat down to watch TV like always, Tiana looked at Grim and said "Sleep any better last night?" to which he replied and said "Ya, I ugh....slept pretty good last night, you?", she smiled and said "I slept pretty good too, nice to hear that you had a good night sleep!", Grim smiled slightly and said "Ya I guess it is...". She cuddled up to him as usual and said "Whatcha watching?", Grim replied by saying "The news", Tiana looked at him and said "That's boring, but you know what we could watch?", Grim quickly replied and said "You're gonna say anime aren't you?", she smiled and said "Yep!", Grim gave her the remote and she turned on an anime, Grim couldn't get rid of that thought in his head telling him to go outside, but his gut knew something was wrong, so he knew to stay inside.
