It was late at night, the snow was falling but barely sticking on the ground, the forest looked like a powdered pastry, Grim had looked around, he knew this place from somewhere. As Grim slowly walked around he heard a crack behind him, he quickly turned to his back side and saw the silhouette of a girl, around her teen years, wearing a hoodie, trying to hide. Eventually as Grim watched this all, another silhouette appeared wearing a hoodie, but this one was taller and looked to be a man, he carried guns on his side, Grim had a feeling the man was looking for the girl, soon enough the man gave up and left. Grim had continued to watch the teenage girl as she slowly got up, she slowly walked towards Grim still a Silhouette as she began to hug him, Grim stood there confused and slowly hugged back because something was telling him to do it, soon enough the whole room went black, and Grim had started to wake up.
As Grim woke up in his bed he read the clock on the wall, it's was 2:05 PM, he had never slept in that late, and when he looked to his left side Tiana was gone. When Grim had got up he went to the door, before opening it he heard some glass clanking around, and sounds of sips and liquid being poured, he opened the door and saw Tiana and Hope in the living room drinking Tea together. Tiana turned around and saw Grim, she smiled and said "Well look who's up sleepy head!", she had got up and ran to hug him, Hope looked and said "You two are so cute together", Grim didn't know how to feel, Hope was his Ex wife and had disappeared and reappeared nearly 30 years later. Grim stood there and just looked blank at both of them, he looked at Tiana and said "I think I'm gonna go on a small vacation...", she tilted her head and said "What do you mean?" As Hope asked the same question as well, Grim replied by saying "I just wanna go, maybe for 3 days into the town that's about an hour away....need to get some space and think...", Tiana says "Well than who will I cuddle at night?" Grim looks and says "You got a lot of plushies, just hold them....I gotta go...". Grim hugged Tiana and brought his mask and guns, he then went to the garage and got in his car, soon enough he started the vehicle and drove off.
Grim took a deep breath in as he got on the road and turned on the radio, the song that was playing was a slow folk song, about a girl known as "The Girl with Horns", something about it reminded Grim of someone he once knew, but he didn't know who. Grim had looked around and saw nothing but snow and trees, but while he was driving he saw a glimpse of a tall shadow figure in the trees, as he saw it his eyes widened and he yelled "Fuck not you!" and he began to speed down the road, after almost a minute of speeding he slowed the car and tried to relax, he realized he had been driving for almost 40 minutes, that meant he was almost there at the town. Soon enough Grim was In the small town and parked by an Inn that was next to a bar, he put on his mask and hid his guns under his coat, he soon walked into the Inn and put a 50 on the counter, he looks at the lady running the place and says "Can I get 3 nights with this?" She looks at him says "Sure, but only 3, your room is #6, here's your key sir.", she slowly slid the key towards Grim. As he walked through the door of his room, he took a deep breath in, the place was well cleaned and made entirely out of golden lumber, the whole room smelled like a nice pinewood Forrest, and in the center of it all was a small TV mounted nicely in front of a bed, Grim laid down and slowly drifted off.
