The room was black, nothing but silence, Grim looked up to see the two shadow figures, he jumped back and screamed because he was startled at first, but he soon realized they had no intentions to hurt him. He had a strange feeling that they were in distress, something felt off about them and they even looked sad, one of them reached down signaling that they wanted Grims hand, as he reached for their hand a loud roar was heard in the distance and the shadows went running. Grim looked around and had realized that he seemed to be in some strange coffee shop, people were all laughing and chatting, sipping heard every few seconds, a man walked to the table and had said "Do you want to order sir?", Grim couldn't control himself and said "No I'm still waiting for someone", Grim thought to himself "Why did I say that?" As the waiter walked away. Grim looked around to see if someone was coming to sit with him, he thought that it could be Tiana or even Hope, maybe his old friend Emma, soon enough a pale blonde girl walked up to Grim and sat in front of him, she looked at him with a face that said a thousand words, the specific word was he had in mind was angst, the girl opened her mouth and said "Alright I'm here, what do you need Dad?", Grim has soon started to wake up.
Grim found himself in the back of a nice car, bandages wrapped around his arms and legs and towels covered in his blood, he slowly said "W-where am I...?", the car soon pulled over and the driver looked at him, he had recognized that face from anywhere, it was his daughter Faith. She gave a slight smile as she looked at him and said "Thank God you're ok!", seeing her made Grim feel so much better, but he was questioning why she was there by his home and not off acting in a movie, he smiled and said "Well isn't this a surprise, my daughter here in Alaska instead of living in Hollywood acting in a big time film?". Faith giggled a little and said "You sound high Dad, but it's still great to hear your voice, I decided I want to spend a little time with my Dad and his girlfriend.", Grim had thought of that as strange but decided to ignore it. Grim smiled more and said "Do you know where we are going?", "Of course I know where we're going" Faith had said "Hell were almost there!". She started driving again as Grim just relaxed and smiled in the back, happy to know he'll soon be home with the woman he loves, and now the lady he raised.
The car soon pulled into the drive way of His and Tiana's home, the snow glistening in the moon light which told Grim that a day still hadn't passed, Faith took the keys out and said "Well dad we're here, I'm sure you'll like being in bed instead of on the side of the road.". Hearing that quickly made Grim shout up and he said "Please don't tell Tiana where you found me, just say my car had a bit of a wreck and you were thankfully there!", Faith had laughed and said "Don't worry dad, I got your back, I won't tell Tiana about your favorite hotel." Grim sighed in relief as he started to take bandages off, knowing his wounds were healed by now, after taking the bandages off he got out of the car with Faith. Faith had hugged him as they got out, "I'm so happy to be here with you Dad...I've been going through some bad times recently..."Faith said as she tightly held her father, this caused Grim to tear up a bit and smile as he said "Don't worry, you're always welcomed here with me, even Tiana sees you like a daughter..." they walked up to the door and soon walked inside the house.
When they walked into the house they saw Tiana crying by the couch, she looked up and saw Grim and Faith, seeing Grim had made her so happy that she quickly bounced up and ran at him so she could hug him. Tiana pulled on his collar so she could get eye to eye with him and said "Why the Hell were you gone for so long, I thought you said you'd be gone for three days!?", Grim looked confused and said "I thought I was gone for three days?", it was at this point that Grim realized that when his car got wrecked, he was unconscious for a full day. Tiana playfully slapped him and said "No it was four days, I had to go an extra day without you in bed!", Grim blushed a little because he wasn't expecting to hear that, until he realized that she was talking about cuddling and not sex, Grim scratched his head and replied by saying "Ya sorry about that, I lost track of time while I was gone...", Faith giggled and blurted out "How about that car wreck you got into Dad?". Grim looked at Faith clearly alarmed before she then said "And how I found you face down on the side of the road?", Tiana then looks at Grim and started panicking a bit "Holy shit Grim is she serious, wait was this another suicide attempt?! Was it an accident!?", Grim had held Tiana and said "No it wasn't a suicide attempt, I just got caught off guard by and animal on the road and ended up pulling the steering wheel while I was near a cliff, I'm fine though.", Tiana took a deep breath and hugged Grim tighter, before than saying "You're such an idiot, thank God you're immortal!" She then smiled and directed her attention towards Faith. Tiana went and hugged Faith saying "It's such a pleasant surprise seeing you here, always good to have you around!", Faith nervously laughed and said "Ya, I know, say could I possibly stay here for awhile? You guys don't have a car anymore so maybe I could just sleep in my car, in the Garage?", Grim laughed and said "Sure you can kid, just don't mess with anything.", Faith smiles and says "Thank you so much, now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go take a nap in my car!" Faith soon walked out and it was just Grim and Tiana in the living room. Tiana and Grim went and laid on the couch together cuddling up, both happy to be in each other's arms again, their relationship was good and they never got sick of each other, they soon fell asleep in each other's arms together.
