*8 years after..

"GAH!" I gasped in shock as I sat up on my bed, still glancing around my empty room.
"Did.. I just had another nightmare?" I asked myself after wiping my face with my hands.
But when I felt something wet in my cheeks, I quickly faced the mirror and realized.. I was crying while I was asleep? Again.
It kept having the same dream over and over again and its somehow traumatizing me over the past years. But luckily, its all over.
Its been over 8 years now and I can't still forget what happened that day, the day I almost lost her is truly horrific for me..
Suddenly, I heard my phone rang a notification at the nightstand beside me so I grabbed it to check who was it.
A small smile went up my face as soon I saw a message from one of my best friends before pressing his message icon.
"Soarin skies 🖕"

s: "Sup dude, wanna test out the new jets tomorrow?"
"Does the commander know about this?"
Ss: "He doesnt have to know, I mean were doing him a favor at testing those rides right?"
"You're the same asshole I met back at college, but hell yeah! Count me in."
Ss: "Great! See you tomorrow jackass."
"Cya loser." I lastly replied, closing my phone afterwards.

It always makes me smile whenever I think of the fact that my friend got out of prison and was not accused guilty for evidences, even though she made my friend pregnant he was still responsible for being a father.
When I was about to crawl out of bed, I heard an angelic voice coming this way alongside a cute crying voice.
"Heya sugarcube, you okay? I heard someone scream, was that you again?"
"Yeah, Im okay Applejack.." I started, crawling out of bed to purposely fall on the ground afterwards which made the baby's crying turn into a cheerful laugh.
"You like that sweetie?" I asked with a warm smile while standing back up.
My lover then approached me and gave me a quick yet passionate kiss on the lips after gently placing our baby down the bed.
Aj: "Did you have another nightmare love? That was one loud scream" She asked in a worried tone, placing her forehead on mine.
"Y-yeah.. The same old dream. Did I woke her up?" I asked, glancing at my sleeping 2 year old daughter back on the bed.
Aj: "Luckily its a no, but its all over know.. You don't have to worry about her."
"I know Apples, I know.. But it still traumatizing me.."
Aj: "Want to go to the doctor? Maybe they can help you.."
"Im not crazy Applejack." I started while placing my arms on her shoulder. "Im just trying to forget it, thats all."
Aj: "But this is your 4th nightmare in this week! Im worried that it might affect your health."
"Relax Apples, Im okay.. Okay?" I giggled with a soft laugh after giving my lover one last kiss on the forehead.
