Aiden's POV:
"I'll see you later, front gates of the school then." she winks before departing to her dog life. I turn around to face Lucas, currently biting his lip to prevent him from laughing.
"Uh, what's so funny?" I questioned him while we make our way to the classroom. Apparently Cassie and her friends left us already. "You-" he lets out a laugh while holding is right part of his tummy.
"Oh god. You will go to her house. I- I can imagine her picking out the lingerie." He says while dragging the ie part. "And her holding up on your arm. Put on gloves or something, just get ready." He continues to laugh at me.
I don't really get his point. "I'm not following."
"Okay, okay. Let me just clear something up." I gestured him to proceed. "You will go to the house of your 'caked girlfriend'?" he lifts his right eyebrow. "Uh-huh, for the Chem project."
He laughs once again. "Okay bud, just return alive."
"I am still not following." "Your problem." he races to the classroom leaving me confused about his gibberish statement. Okay not gibberish. A statement that doesn't have a point. I am sure he knows I am not, ever letting her lay a hand on me.
I went to our classroom and saw the door infront of me. I opened the door, roaming my eyes looking for Cassie. She's there, in front of Lucas who had his headphones on. He's kinda into music, specifically Kpop. I mean why is Kpop so famous right now?
I approached my seat beside Cassie, her elbow resting on the desk with her hand under her chin, her eyes shut closed. Hmm. Taking a nap I see..
I chuckled. This will be fun. I took out my phone, opening it to camera and switching it to the back camera. Oh angel, you look hilarious when you sleep. I snapped a picture but bad luck came my way. The flash of the camera was on. I gulped, probably noticeable to others but no one minded. They had their own business.
I glanced at Lucas. Our eyes locked, again he's trying to hold in his laugh. He did a thumbs up to me, but his other hand turned it to a thumbs down.
Let's just hope she didn't wake up. I shut my eyes, while putting down the phone.
"Okay, Aiden. Come on. Don't be a scaredy cat and open your eyes." the voice in my head said. Deep breathing —then count to three...1...2. Okay— JUST OPEN YOUR EYES.
And there she is, awake, rubbing her eyes. I felt her gaze on me. I bit the inside of my cheek.
She tilted her head and smirked a little. Since when did she ever smirked? Okay maybe she does usually I mean it's just been like 2? 3? days since I met her. Come to think about it, we met on a Monday and now...it's already Thursday woah time flies fast.
A lot has *not really* happened this week, Monday— we just kind of yeah first day of school things you know what I'm talking about, we also went to a cafe for the Chem project but we just ended up laughing about stories we told. Tuesday, was kind of boring actually. Just did classes and didn't bother Cassie. I didn't feel like it. She also went home right after the last bell rang. Wednesday, locker spray paint incident of Cassie's or something. And today, let's see what's gonna happen.
I snapped out of the realizing kind of thing and had my gaze on Cassie. She smacked me playfully on the shoulder. "Uh what was that for?"
"Look Mr. Model, I know I'm pretty but please ask permission if you want a picture of me. Also, I'm a light sleeper just by a tap and I'm already awake. Now, the picture in your phone of me sleeping. Please kindly delete it." she stated, annoyed.
