My life at Hogwarts

We were standing in the door and were just looking at each other. My mum with a broad smile on her face and mine felt even bigger than hers. At that moment my dad drove into the garage and looked at us with a puzzled expression. We must have looked like daft bimbos, standing in the doorway and just smiling at each other. He got out of the car, still in his work clothes. (He wears a suit for work. I think it doesn't suit him, but he is a lawyer and you have to wear proper clothing bla bla bla ~_~) We looked at him at the same time and each of us took one of his hand. In the living room we threw him onto the couch and excitedly began to tell him everything. First he stared at us a little suspicious, but the moment he got what we were talking about he also smiled even if there was a tang of disbelieve in his eyes. "So that means we go to this Diagon Alley tomorrow, doesn't it?", dad asked with a smile. "Yesss!" I answer screamed with a hysterical nod. I was so nervous and happy and confused at the same time, crazy feeling. Dad laughed at me and pulled me into a bear hug. Soon mum threw herself onto us and the three of us were laying on the couch, our arms embraced and laughing. It wasn't a long hug because suddenly the doorbell rang the third time this day. Aunt Mary was standing outside, she is living a few streets from our house. She came to invite us to a family dinner this Saturday at her place, we of course said yes and with that she made her way back home.
There are only four weeks till school starts again. And Professor McGonagall told me it is accepted to write with normal pencils nowadays. Some decades ago you had to write with quills. Luckily you can now write with "normal" stuff 'cause I love the look of ball and gel pens. I went straight up to the second floor and took my old pencil case out of the workroom. I always did my homework in there, mum says you have to split relax and work places. I think the same way. I sorted out all my pens and while doing that my mum came in once. She promised me to go shopping pens anytime soon. -squeaking out of joy- I made a plan in my head which pens I wanted to take with me and I needed a new pencil case. After writing everything I wanted down, I decided to go downstairs to talk to mum. I asked her if I could search the things up in the internet. She gave me her iPad -we don't live a very "modern" life, there's only one computer, an iPad and three phones in our household- and sat down on the kitchen table to look at my list, which i put there. Doing the same thing I googled all things.

I am so sorry that there is mostly Faber-Castell stuff but I really like it.

I choose a vintage roll case, because it looks so cool. We had to buy it on the internet but the other stuff I picked is available in a store in the next bigger city. The colored pencils in the metal box were mums idea, she thought they would be better to put in the suitcase. The other stuff I can put in my new pencil case. To look for all the school supplies took us around an hour and as soon as we knew it was time for dinner. We don't cook in the afternoon so we grabbed some food out of the fridge and ate together. Dad did the dishes afterwards and all of us went to bed, we have to get enough sleep. Tomorrow will be a long day.
