Leo watched in shock. Karai was no longer a mutant snake. At first, Leo thought he was dreaming. He looked Karai up and down as she continued running over the border. It seemed too real to be a dream.

Leo pulled out his T-phone, debating whether or not to call his brothers. He stared at the screen, slowly lifting his finger away from it, then letting it slowly lead back down, unsure of what to do.

He looked back up at Karai and realized how far she had gotten. Leo sighed as he stood up and tried to follow her in the shadows.

'Why is she running?' Leo asked himself. 'She knows that we're her real family.' He brushed the thoughts away quickly when he saw Karai stop to catch her breath. This was his chance. His chance to get Karai back for sure.

Leo crept over the rooftop barriers as he kept his gaze on Karai. His eyes were pale white as he slowly approached her from behind.

"Well. Looks like Bluey found me." Karai smirked, keeping her back to Leo. The blue masked turtle gasped and took a step back. "You know, for a leader, you're not a very good ninja. I could hear you from a mile away."

Leo's eyes went dull as he listened to Karai baffle on about it. Karai was technically a girl version of all of his brothers combined. Just thinking about it made Leo shudder on the inside.

"Heh. Cute Karai. But I didn't confront you to get humiliated. I came to talk." Leo's face became stern and serious in a matter of seconds. Karai's smirk immediately washed away with shock.

"We need your help with fighting Shredder. He-" Leo started.

"No! I'm not helping with that! He mutated me into a white python! He threatened me my whole life and took me away from my real family! I never want to see him again, no matter how much revenge I want against him!" Karai yelled.

Leo was taken aback by this. He had never seen Karai so scared before.

"Karai please." Leo begged. Karai immediately shut down the idea by turning away and trying to run. Though, Leo grabbed her arm pulling her back.

"Alright. I won't make you fight Shredder. I just want to ask you to come back to New York and stay with us." Leo soothed, slowly pushing the hair out of Karai's face. He had concern welling over him. Karai looked up at Leo in pure fear. She turned her face away from Leo and slowly shook her head.

"N-No. I'm not safe in New York anymore. Shredder is going to do whatever it takes to get me back and that's the last thing I want. I'm safer just to leave the city." Karai slowly looked up at Leo in worry. She wiped away a tear that was falling down her face.

"Goodbye Leo." Karai said, trying to run again. But once again, Leo pulled Karai back and gripped her by the shoulders in a panic.

"I'm coming with you." He stated. Karai's eyes widened in shock.

"No Leo. You're needed here. I'll be fine."

"No. I'm not letting you go by yourself. I'm coming with whether you like it or not." Then, Leo grabbed Karai's hand. Karai began to blush but excepted it immediately. Then, the two continued to run through the border line.
