I apologise if this is strangely formatted or has some stupid mistakes. I'm writing it on my phone because my J key is broken on my laptop. And it's very hard to write a story with Joey in it when it's only coming up as oey. Hope you enjoy.
Another day Stuck in Quarantine. Today the tables have turned and Joey is awake first and takes Diane out before he decides to wake up Lauren. When Joey walks back in wrapped in his black robe he crouches down beside the bed and brushes Lauren's curls off of her face. "Hey babe, you've slept in today!! I'm going to go put the tea kettle on. You should probably get up soon." Lauren groans and slowly starts opening her eyes as Joey pecks her forehead and walks out of their bedroom. She rolls over, puts her glasses on and checks her phone. "8.30!" She groans and decides she better get up.
She pulls on some shorts and a T-shirt. Getting all comfortable, for yet another day on the couch. She scoops Diane off of the bed, where she's made herself at home on Joey's pillow and placing kisses on her head, they make their way into the kitchen.
Joey is standing by the stove waiting for the kettle to boil and checking his phone. Lauren creeps up beside him and wraps her arm around his middle. Joey's phone dings. It's their group chat with Brian and Meredith.
It reads * Facetime Call today? 12pm our time (on my lunch break)? x Mere *
"Yay! Joey please say that works for you too?! I can't wait to see them!" Lauren says with the biggest smile on her face.
"I'm not zooming Brian and Corey until 12 our time so that's perf- hey!" Before Joey could finish, Lauren has taken his phone and responded: *Fuck yeah! We're in x Lo*
"Sorry I left my phone in our room and I can't be bothered" Lauren apologises as Joey shakes his head laughing. He then wraps his arms around his girlfriend's small frame and leans down to give her a loving 'good morning' kiss.
"Oh Jo Jo, we've only got a little over an hour until they call us at 10am!" Lauren groans.
"Babe, they won't care if we're in our lazy clothes or pyjamas. It's Mere and BHol." Joey states pointing to the pyjama pants he's wearing. Lauren nods and reaches for the now boiled kettle.
Joey gets another text. "Uh, Lo, Mere says they're dressing nice in "at home clothes" today so she wants us to too."
"Mmmkay" she replies "I'm putting in minimal effort though. I want to get stuck into cleaning the apartment this afternoon." Lauren replies. Joey tells the chat that they're on board and will see them soon. After some tea and cereal for breakfast, both Joey and Lauren scan their wardrobes for something to wear. Joey pulls on his blazer jacket over his bare chest. Lauren loses it "JO JOOOO! Please wear it like that!!" She laughs. Joey shows off his new look and saunters towards Lauren in a silly, sexual way. She swats at his chest a few times but still embraces it when Joey wraps his arms around her and pulls her into a kiss. After a minute or two of enjoying the embrace, they pull apart.
"Ok Lo, what's the options for you?" Joey asks.
Lauren pulls out 2 jackets. One is a coral blazer and the other a leopard print fur coat. "One of these?!" She asks, wanting Joey to help her with decision making. He thinks for a moment. "I like the leopard one, it looks cozy and I loved it on you when we went to Dylan's award show!" As Joey responds Lauren is already pulling on the jacket in question.
Half an hour later Joey's hair is slicked back and Lauren has finished her makeup and has her contact lenses in.
They make themselves comfortable on the couch with glasses of water, some snacks and Diane. They share some time together giving Diane and one another kisses until Brian rings them.

After an hour of catching up with their amazing friends Lauren and Joey start their productive day cleaning the apartment, and Joey has his meeting with the fellow members of TCB.
In the evening, after they've deep cleaned their apartment they start marking dinner.
Joey's phone rings "It's Robert." He states aloud. "Pop him on speaker!" Lauren calls out. J l: Hey Robert you're on speaker with Lo too! R: hey guys, good I've got you both! L: Heeey! What's up? R: well I know you guys like Jackbox Games. And my friend Andrew just contacted me and asked if we'd like to be on an episode of Broadway Jackbox on Twitch. It's a fundraiser for The Actors Fund. L: oh I LOVE! Jackbox. R: well I'm calling to ask if the two of you will be a part of it? I wasn't sure because you'd be in the same.... He doesn't finish his sentence. J: No I think it sounds great Dude. We're in, right Lo? L: Hell Yeah! R: well it's on in a couple of days. I'll forward you the info from Andrew and I guess I'll see you then. J: See you dude! Thanks. L: Byeeeee Thanks for asking us!
"Oh this is going to be so much fun" Lauren says excitedly.
