Chapter 19: The Swim in the Lake

Ron's P.O.V.

Ok. All I had to do was find Harry and Cho. The plan was I had to Stun Cho or make her unconscious in any way possible. Then I'll ask Harry to join me for a swim. I really want this to work because Ginny would go mental otherwise. Well it wasn't that hard to find them. They were in an empty corridor, snogging. Ginny would've gone barging in and killed Cho right then and there. I had learnt how to do non-verbal spells so I aimed my wand at Cho and thought 'Stupefy'. It hit Cho perfectly in the stomach and she fell to the floor. "Cho!" Harry exclaimed. I tried to act normal when I appeared. "Is she alright?" I ask bending down to pretend I cared. "Did you see who stunned her?" Harry asked, anxiously. "No I didn't, the person may be using a Disillusionment Charm or an Invisibility Cloak." I replied. I magicked her onto a stretcher and sent her up to the Hospital Wing. Harry was about to follow when I asked whether he wanted to have a swim in the Black Lake to take his mind off it.

Ginny's P.O.V.

I sat by the lake with Hermione waiting for Harry. I bit my fingernails to relieve the tension. UGH! I just ruined a perfectly good manicure. What if Harry DIDN'T come back to me? What if I'm NOT his true love? What if it DOESN'T work? I heard footsteps from behind me and saw Harry and Ron walking and talking. "Hey" I said to Harry standing up. "Hi" Harry replied. I saw his eyes travel up and down my body. Inside I smiled to myself but outside I showed no expression. I dived into the Black Lake Hermione following after. Harry jumped in with Ron. I saw Harry swimming over to me. The sky was turning dark. All I needed was the Full Moon to come out and I could kiss Harry. When Harry reached me he said "You look great." I blushed. I hadn't got used to the water temperature so I managed to say "I-it's cold!" Slowly Harry swam underneath the water and appeared again behind me. He put his arms around me. I smiled at him. Then I saw the moon rise. I looked at him. He looked at me. Our eyes locked. Harry bent down and kissed me. I didn't hesitate to kiss him back. We stayed like that for 5 seconds before Harry let go. He looked around bewildered. "Why are we in the Black Lake?" Harry asked. "Harry, Cho gave you an Everlasting Love Potion" I explained "To get you back to normal your true love had to kiss you under a full moon. This was part of the plan." Harry looked at me. "You kissed me didn't you" Harry said, smirking a little. "Maybe" I replied cheekily before kissing his lips again.

Hermione's P.O.V.

Ron and I were snogging. His lips were against mine. They were soft. I reminded myself of the plan so I pushed Ron off. "What" Ron questioned. "We're meant to be helping Ginny aren't we?" I said. "Yeah" Ron answered. We turned around to find Ginny snogging Harry under the moonlight. "Well" I said turning back to Ron "It seems like that's taken care of." Ron smiled at me before lowering his lips onto mine. I sighed. Harry and Ginny were meant to be together.

Harry's P.O.V.

We were walking back to the Common Room. When Cho came running up to me. "Harry" she exclaimed "I've been looking for you everywhere! Why is she here." I knew she was talking about Ginny. I opened my mouth to say something but Ginny beat me to it. "You gave Harry an Everlasting Love Potion. And don't deny it" Ginny added. Cho trembled. "Well I must say it was a very clever plan" Hermione said "But not clever enough." Cho was struggling to find something to say as she was opening and closing her mouth. Finally she blurted out angrily "I'll get you back! All of you!" Then she stormed away. Ginny smiled at me. Soon I was asleep in my dorm.
