Harry's P.O.V.
I had already asked Mr and Mrs Weasley to marry Ginny. They were really happy for me and told me that they agreed. That day I went out with Ron to buy a ring for Ginny when I found out Ron was proposing to Hermione! I bought Ginny a rose gold ring with a diamond on it. Ron also bought Hermione a rose gold ring but with a rose gold gem instead.

*Hermione's Ring*
Ron told me what his plan is. I decided to propose to Ginny on a "Date" so she wouldn't suspect anything. It was going to be a date in the Weasley's garden. I found Ginny in our room reading and I sat down next to her. "Hey Gin." "Mmmm." She answered. "Do you wanna go on a date with me this afternoon?" I asked. Ginny looked at me and then said "I would love Harry but I hope it's not a prank!" "It's not I promise," I replied. Ginny smiled and gave me a peck on the lips before focusing on her book again. I went downstairs to meet Ron and we set up the date together.
Ginny's P.O.V.
I was assuming that Harry would take me somewhere but he later assured me that the date was in the garden. I still dressed up and chose to wear a white polka dotted dress with a black belt. I did my hair in a double fishtail braid to keep my hair out of my face.

*Ginny's Dress*
I bumped into Hermione on the way and she tells me that she's going on a date too! With Ron! That seems a bit fishy. I find Harry waiting for me out in the garden. He had a blindfold in his hand. I crossed my arms and pouted as he put the blindfold on me. "If you're going to lead me to the river to prank me you're getting major payback!" Harry whispered into my ear. "I swear this is not a prank." He took my hands and led me somewhere. "You ready," Harry questioned. I nodded. Harry took my blindfold off. What I saw was a wonderful sight. There was a pathway leading up to a table with small flowers placed at the side of the path. There was a tent-like thing covering the table from above. There were some snacks like chips and candies placed down. On the table there was a vase of flowers and cutlery set up. I squealed and threw myself in Harry's arms crushing our lips together.
After we were done we sat down and talked for a while eating snacks and a few more snogs. I noticed Harry was a bit nervous but I shrugged it off. We talked so much that we got onto the topic of jobs. I told Harry that I dreamed of playing Quidditch professionally and preferably for the Holyhead Harpies. Harry told me he'd love to be an Auror but the training was long and we'd have to not see each other for a long time. I sighed and replied "Harry, you should follow your dreams." He looked at me before taking my hand and standing up. I followed. Once we were both standing Harry bent down on one knee, took out a box and said "Ginny I love you with all my heart and I want to be with you forever." Tears streamed down my face. This was the happiest moment of my life! Harry looked up into my beautiful brown eyes and asked. "Please, will you marry me?" I nodded unable to answer and held out my hand so he could place the ring on my finger. Harry stood up again and I kissed him. I didn't care about anything right now. All I thought about was the fact that I was engaged with Harry. Harry Potter. The guy I had loved since the age of 5. Once we finished I looked at the ring closer. It was rose gold!

*Ginny's Ring*
I let out a whimper of happiness and Harry held me in his arms. "Thank you s-so much Harry!" I exclaimed. We decided to pack up the date so Harry bundled everything up and packed it away. We were walking back to the house when we saw Hermione and Ron. Hermione looked really happy. We ended up together. "OMG Ginny guess what happened!!" Hermione asked excitedly. "What?" "Ron proposed to me" she gushed. "Are you serious" I questioned. Hermione looked at me confused. "Yeah what's wrong?" "Because Harry proposed to me too!" I replied unable to keep the news in anymore. Hermione looked shocked. Her eyes travelled down to my hand and then she squealed and she hugged me. Suddenly mum came to us. "Harry! Ron!" Mum called out "Kingsley sent a letter." Ron and Harry took them and looked horrified to find a howler. They opened it and Kingsley's voice rang out.
"Death Eaters are trying to escape the Ministry. We need all the help we can get. Harry, bring Ron. Hermione can't come. It is for her safety. Be quick."
Harry and Ron looked at each other and nodded. "You can't go" Hermione wailed "What if you get hurt!" "Yeah! Harry please not now!!" I added. Harry shook his head. "I'm sorry I have to. I'll go without Ron if he doesn't come but I promise you I'll be back and alive." I wrapped my arms around him. Harry never gives up on anything. I can't stop him. "You can go. But be safe!" "I will" Harry whispered and he pressed his lips to my forehead. Ron was waiting for Harry once I let him go. Then they both turned on the spot and disappeared.
