Harry and Ron's P.O.V.
We were planning an extremely special way to ask the two girls out. We could see both Hermione and Ginny were expecting us to ask them, but as each day passed, they grew more suspicious. It reached a point when they wouldn't talk to us. They barely even glanced at us, and when they did, they glared at us suspiciously. It was going to happen on Hogsmeade weekend. We went to Hogsmeade two hours before we would go to collect the girls. We waved our wands and all the decorations were hung up. Everything was so much easier with magic. We both snuck back into Hogwarts and tickled the pear to enter the kitchens. But as soon as Harry - Me - No - Harry stepped in Harry - No - Yes stopped abruptly. An image filled His - My - No, his mind. A small lopsided eared elf ran and hugged me round my legs. "You alright mate?" Ron - I - Ron asked Harry - Me! - No, snapping Him - me out of My - His memories. Harry - Fine opened my - his mouth to say something but he - I couldn't. Ron - Me - Shut it looked at me - Harry. "D-Dobby." He - I managed to say. Ron - me patted me - him on the back. "It'll be fine," he - Ron said. We entered the kitchen and suddenly all the elves gathered around Harry - me and Ron - me. "Mr Potter, Mr Weasley such an honour to meet you!" "What do you need Mr Potter and Weasley." "We are at your service, sirs, what do you require?" Then an old elf stepped out from the crowd. "Kreacher?" I - Harry asked. "Master Harry." Kreacher said bowing. "What do you need." Then Kreacher started banging his head on the floor. "Bad Kreacher, bad Kreacher! Why did you work for another Master!" Kreacher said. "Kreacher, I forbid you to punish yourself" I - Also Harry yelled. Kreacher immediately stopped. The elves gave us the food we ordered and we set it up. Ron - Me and Harry - I finished the setup and we walked to the Common Room to meet the girls.
Ginny's P.O.V.
Hermione and I were in our room getting ready for the date Ron and Harry asked us out to. Hermione came out wearing black and light pink dress. "Like it?" she asked. "You look amazing." I replied. I looked at the clock. It was 11:37am. I freaked out. We had 23 minutes till the boys would come get us. I hadn't even put my Makeup on! "Hermione," I exclaimed "Help me pick a dress! The boys will be here soon!" "Ginny don't fret" Hermione said while applying her mascara "You have plenty of time!" "23, no, 22 minutes left is not enough time." I moaned. I rummaged through my closet looking for something to wear. Finally I agreed on a white dress with black Autumn leaves. With 15 minutes left, I sat down by our vanity and started applying my makeup. I didn't put too much on because I am not that type of girl. As I was putting on my Lipstick Hermione went downstairs. I grabbed the handbag Hermione gave me and packed my lip gloss, purse and the rest of my stuff. I ran downstairs and found Harry there waiting for me. "Hey." Harry said. "Hi." I answered, still slightly disappointed that he hadn't asked me to the Christmas Ball. Harry grabbed my hand and whispered in my ear "You look stunning!" I blushed. Harry gave me a swift kiss on the cheek, grabbed my hand and tugged me out of the Common Room.
Harry led me into Hogsmeade. I was sure that he was about to stop at the 3 Broomsticks but he took me behind it and into a lovely forest. "Wow," I whispered "It's so beautiful!" Even though I came down late, Ron and Hermione were behind us. We soon split our ways and I followed Harry. When we got there I was met by a magnificent sight. There was a table set, candles lit, decorations hung. "Oh my god, Harry!" I exclaimed "When did you do this?" "Before we came to get you." Harry answered. I launched myself into Harry's arms and hugged him. We started eating. In my head I was hoping that Harry would ask me to the ball.
What did you say Ginny?
Dang-it. I forgot he could sometimes hear my thoughts! I knew Harry had heard my thoughts. I blushed furiously. Harry grabbed my hands and said "Ginny will you go to the Christmas Ball with me?" "Yes!" I squealed. Harry reached his hand into his pocket and handed me a small box. I opened it and gasped. Inside was a beautiful pair of peridot earrings. "Harry, you didn't have to spend this on me!" I exclaimed. "You're worth it." Harry whispered. I smiled at him. We spent the rest of lunch together and talking.
Hermione's P.O.V.
Ginny and Harry walked together in front of us, holding hands, absorbed in each other's thoughts. They were 'bonding'. It looked as if they thought they were talking. Ron was muttering random words that I couldn't hear - I was too busy observing Hinny (Harry and Ginny) and the peculiar sight. Unlike the pair in front of us, Ron and I barely exchanged glances, didn't have a conversation or hold hands. Suddenly, Ginny was whisked away from my sight. At this, Ron spoke up and we chatted and laughed until dusk. Ron snatched me away from the street and behind The Hog's Head. Behind this grimey shop was a beautiful flower field only to be disrupted by a lantern lighted feast. "Oh Ron!" I cried, "You did this for me?" "Yes and one. More. Thing." "Oh, you really didn't need to, this wasn't-" I started when Ron cut me off with the end of his rummaging. A sapphire ring was glimmering in his hand. I was at a loss for words, it seemed like Ron was too. He gulped. "Hermione. Jean. Granger." He Gulped again. "Will you come to the Christmas Ball. With. Me." All my breath left me, when words started pouring out of my mouth. "Yes! YES!" I squealed. We snogged for what seemed like ages until Ginny and Harry came. "Dude." Harry said, blandly. We stopped. "Oh, yeah, right." Ron said. "Sorry." I added, apologetically.
