Malika hurried to the front porch, her heart racing as a sudden thought struck her. Determined, she pivoted on her heel, quickly grabbing Monty's wheelchair before dashing around the side of the house. Her family, caught off guard by her urgency, exchanged puzzled glances and hurried to follow her.
They soon found themselves in front of a charming garage, its doors slightly ajar, revealing Malika and Monty inside. The sight before him left Monty's lips quivering with surprise and emotion. He pulled off his hat, his eyes wide with astonishment as he took in the space around him.
Malika, beaming with pride, turned to him and said, "I remember you mentioned your passion for mechanics, so I thought the perfect gift would be a garage of your own. And don't worry - it's fully accessible for those with disabilities."
Monty's voice cracked as he replied, "This is the best gift I could ever receive in my long life. Thank you..." He paused, wiping away the tears that cascaded down his cheeks, overwhelmed by the thoughtful gesture.
"...Monty's brand-new garage is filled with items and materials..."
Hoyt stepped into the garage, his eyes widening in amazement. "God damn, this is the best garage I've ever seen!" he exclaimed with excitement. "I might just park my sheriff's car here!"
Luda May's eyes shimmered with tears as she looked at Malika, her voice barely above a whisper. "Such a sweet girl, Malika!" she said, overwhelmed with emotion.
Thomas entered behind them, quickly noticing the freshness of the air inside the garage, a stark contrast to the superheated exterior.
With a cheerful smile lighting up her face, Malika turned to the family and said, "Let's continue the visit, shall we?"
They all nodded enthusiastically and began heading back towards the front entrance of the house, "Welcome home!" with a warm gesture, Malika handed the key to Hoyt and beamed!
Hoyt inserted the key into the lock, turning it with anticipation. As he opened the door, he was greeted by the sight of a stunning living room bathed in natural light, seamlessly flowing into a fully equipped kitchen that promised many family gatherings and cherished memories.
"...Living room with an open kitchen with diner table..."
