Henry, Bridgette and Boris were just staring each other down. Not sure what was going as the silence consumed the room. The wolf man not saying anything and Henry not sure what to do with Cherry in his arms. Knowing that she needed some kind of help if she were to survive. Looking up at Boris and then deciding to say the first words.
"Do you think you can help us Boris?" Asked Henry as he gestured to Cherry passed out in his arms, looking back up at Boris hoping that he would help them out.
In reply Boris just shook his head no, crossing his arms over his chest not looking to happy. Making Henry wonder why he was so annoyed with him asking for help. He could feel Cherry growing weaker and weaker within his arms. Knowing that they could stand around doing nothing for long.
"Boris please... I can't let her die" Pleaded Henry as he looked over at Boris with a begging expression, trying to hold back some form of tears not being able to handle his friend dying again.
Suddenly Boris pulled out a book and pen from the pocket in his overalls. Quickly writing down something and turning the book around to show Henry. Squinting slightly to read what was written down on the blank white page.
"I'm not helping that demon... Not After everything she's done to us... but I will help you out... follow me to the safe house"
"Thank you" Replied Henry just a Boris turned around and headed into the shadows, making both Henry and Bridgette follow him knowing they'd be going somewhere safe.
The walls of the studio, stretching far into the darkness of the shadows. Not being able to see the end in sight. Making Henry realise that this place was so much grander then what he remembered. Anyone that didn't know this place could easily get lost within the walls. A maze of a horrors which should have been left within the darkness. To never have let the light back into its depths.
Walking down the halls Henry never realised how large the studio was. Never hearing or ever seeing half of the things they walked by. Soon the lights were fading and the darkness started to encase the halls. Making Henry and Bridgette both slightly nervous. The fear of the unknown, darkness seeping into the surroundings. Hearing slight screams of pressured steam leaking out out the walls. Clanking of metal hidden in the darkness of their surroundings. Until finally there was light once again when Boris.
Seeing a small little room with a table and chairs. Next to that was a little stove which seemed to still be functioning somehow. A little off shoot lead into a room with a bed and junk littered about the place. Without a word Boris just pointed to the so called bedroom, and then went and sat at his table. Surveying Henry taking Cherry into the bedroom to try and patch her up. While Bridgette went and sat at the other side of the table to Boris.
Delicately Henry placed Cherry down on the bed. Opening her bag to see if she had any kind of bandage inside. Finding a small roll tucked away in a pocket. Gently wrapping it around her right leg and tightly securing it. Seeing some blood seeping out and staining the white bandage a bright crimson red. Sighing slightly as he he knew there was nothing else could do for her now. Pushing himself up from the edge of the bed, knocking Cherry's bag off the edge of the bed in the process.
Snapping his gaze quickly down to see a sprawl of items now littered on the floor. A few tools and other bits and pieces. The main thing that had fallen out was the book Cherry had taken back off him. Wondering what could be that special in a book. Quickly he put everything back into her satchel but kept the book out. Opening it up and having a slight glance inside as he went back into the other room. Bridgette and Boris looked over at Henry as he came back into the room reading. She knew that it was same book Cherry had asked back earlier.
"Won't she kill you if she finds out you've essentially taken her book?" Questioned Bridgette as she pointed at the book while she laid back in her chair, watching him sit down in a chair next to her.
"Well if this book was so important... why did she leave it in that room?" Answered Henry as he continued to read the book, seeing the work that Cherry had been doing over the years.
Seeing drawing after drawing, section after section, notes after notes, and sketches after sketches. Now seeing why this was her life work. Staring to wonder where all the ideas had come from. Knowing that she was just like her father, displayed in the work. As Henry turned one page a letter slipped out and fell onto the table. Making all three of them stare at it. Resting on the wood back side up so none of the could see who it was addressed to.
"Well... should we take a look... you've already been snooping through her book" Said Bridgette as he glanced to the side at Henry, then back down at the letter resting on the table.
Suddenly Henry thought of the letter he got from Joey and Cherry. Pulling it out of his pocket to take a look at the writing. Knowing that if the writing matched it was Cherry who had brought him back into this hell. But not having a clue if they were completely different who would've brought him back. Placing the book down just off to the side still open so the letter could be put back where it came from.
"What's with the other letter?" Questioned Bridgette looking slightly confused, glancing at the letter Henry had just pulled out of his pocket.
"It's the letter I got asking me to come back from Cherry's father and her... if this writing matches then I know it's from Cherry... if not then it's either her father or someone else who wanted me back" Stated Henry as he placed the letter onto the table next to the closed envelope, taking a deep breath before picking up the sealed one.
Opening the envelope which wasn't properly sealed, just tucked into the back. Pulling out the paper inside and unfolding it. Instantly noticing it was the same writing as the letter he received. Beautiful cursive writing lined the page. Then making Henry wonder who sent the letter in the first place. Curious what the letter was about he started to read over the words, having Bridgette lean over slightly to read as well.
Suddenly the book beside Henry slammed shut with a hand resting on it. The pair of them jumped out of their skin and almost off their chairs. Both of them looking behind them to see Cherry standing there. Clearly seeing how livid she was and not at all amused. Seeing the flames of rage burning in her eyes, both of them now terrified for their own lives...
