"Why did you have to drag us down here and get us roped into this... this so called Angels deeds" Shrieked Bridgette as she finally let her temper lose on Cherry, slightly crushing the piece of paper in her fist as she clench them shut.
"Look... I didn't ask to come down here... I didn't know that Wolf's safe haven was close by to here... and for your information I wasn't exactly conscious at the time... or do you have short term memory lose and forgot that" Growled Cherry as she scowled across at Bridgette, trying to contain her anger as best as she could but feeling herself starting to lose that control.
"I don't actually... maybe if you hadn't made this so called mistake and actually tried to fix it none of us would be here now" Snapped Bridgette as she became more and more frustrated by the second, letting her anger rise to new heights and seeing that Cherry as slightly stunned.
"Get out of my sight" Replied Cherry in a low and threatening tone which Bridgette hardly heard, turning her head slightly to try and hide the emotions that wanted to flow through.
"Want to speak a bit louder?" Questioned Bridgette in a slightly sarcastic tone, accompanied by a smug look on her face knowing she'd won this argument.
"I said to get out of my sight... before I decide to throw you in that river of ink" Snapped Cherry as she turned her gaze to look Bridgette dead in the eyes, trying to hold back the tears which clouded the rage in her eyes.
"Whatever" Retorted Bridgette as she started to stroll away from the pair of them, now knowing a way to make Cherry uncomfortable just like she once did to her.
In anger and frustration Cherry let out a sigh, turning away to sit on the stairs just before the door to Alice's sanctuary. Resting a hand on her head trying to hide the tears which wanted to fall. Making Henry glance over at her with some sympathy, then deciding to take a gamble and sit down beside her. His gaze dead ahead at the bridge over the river of ink.
"I don't know how you wound up with a girl like her" Said Cherry as she tried to break the silence that had fallen in the sanctuary, removing her hand from her head and resting them on her legs.
"Maybe because... I didn't have you to wind up with" Replied Henry as he let a slight tint of pink cover his cheeks, turning his gaze down to the side to gaze at Cherry.
"I'm not exactly any better than her Henry... if anything I'm worse" Sighed Cherry as she gazed out just at the room ahead of her, letting all her thought and emotions swirl around inside her head.
"Maybe... but I'll always consider you my friend" Replied Henry as a small smile pulled at his lips, still gazing at Cherry even though she wasn't taking much notice of that.
"You haven't changed much have you?" Questioned Cherry as glanced over her shoulder at Henry, a small and simple smile pulled at her lips.
" I guess not... but you have... so you wanna tell me what happened in this place?" Responded Henry looking at her dead in the eye from the side, hoping to maybe finally get some answer to what was really going on here.
"The less you know the better" Said Cherry as she turned her gaze away slightly out of frustration and mostly out of annoyance that he'd even try and press her for an answer, keeping her gaze dead ahead of her now with a few tears on the edge of her eyes.
"Why?" Questioned Henry not really sure what harm would come to him if he knew too much, tilting his head forward so he could try and look Cherry in the eyes from the side.
"Because I can't risk losing you to Bendy" Cried Cherry as she snapped her gaze back to her side to look Henry dead in the eyes, letting a couple of tears fall down her face.
Henry stayed there silent, more out of shock than anything else. As Cherry turned her head away to look at the wall on her other side. Trying to keep her emotions in check, knowing she had to remain strong and keep it together. Another silence fell over the room again. Cherry trying to calm down from the outburst and Henry unsure what to say or do now.
"Say... Cherry?" Questioned Henry trying to break the silence, knowing something that might be able to lighten the atmosphere that had fallen over them.
"What?" Asked Cherry as she turned her gaze back to look at Henry, managing to hide the tears away and keep her composure.
"Do you remember...when we were kids... and we used to draw for seemingly hours?" Asked Henry as a small smile pulled at his lips at the thought, hoping to make Cherry somewhat pull some kind of smile at the memory.
"Yeah... as you've seen my skills developed in that drawing department" Stated Cherry as she gave Henry a genuine smile, feeling happy to someone to finally talk to after so long of being on her own.
"I thought you just did the voice acting for this place?" Questioned Henry as he gave Cherry a slight inquisitive look, starting to wonder what other hidden talents she might've had.
"Everyone knows that I voiced Bendy... what they didn't really know what that I delved into maintenance as well... which is where drawing plans and them skills flourished... but it's when the problem started as well... which lead to this" Replied Cherry as the memories started flooding back to her in waves, feeling the tears forming in her eyes once again at the thought.
"I would've never thought of you to be delving into maintenance" Said Henry as he gave Cherry a slight sympathetic expression, seeing there was a lot of pent up frustration she was starting to let out.
"You really think I could've made this without some sort of knowledge..." Replied Cherry as she gestured to the cages around the left side of her body, looking Henry dead in the eyes with a tiny smile on her face.
"You even said it was impressive... so you clearly weren't aware of it until I just told you" Continued Cherry as a tiny smug expression covered her face, still keeping eye contact with Henry beside her.
"Alright... clearly a lot smarter than me aren't you" Said Henry as he playful nudged Cherry to the side, giving her a grin as he started to feel the old emotions coming back to him from when they were kids.
"Don't be jealous Henry... you could always be just a smart" Replied Cherry as she nudged him back, giving him a small smile, feeling an emotion she hadn't felt in years... happiness.
"Cherry... whatever happened to your Father?" Questioned Henry as thoughts started swirling around his head, seeing as he hadn't heard or seen him in the studio yet.
"If I'm honest... I don't know... I haven't seen him since the day I fell" Answered Cherry as she let the memories come back into her mind, feeling the tears welling within her eyes.
"Do you miss him?" Asked Henry as he gazed out ahead of him, looking at the river of ink flowing under the bridge.
"I do... but I often wonder if he misses me..." Replied Cherry as she followed Henry's gaze to the river of ink, knowing that most of the problems that happened were caused because of her...
