Third POV.

Liliana curled into herself as Thomas got into the car, her face was nuzzled into her knees as she tried to not break. He started the car without a word and began driving home. The silence was tense and uncomfortable, but neither of them made the effort to break it. All Liliana could do is hug herself tighter and try not to think at all. Her hand grasped the cut on her leg while her other hand dug into her side once again.

Her eyes were clamped shut as she refused to open them till, they got home, she didn't want to see Thomas' face, she didn't want to hear him speak, or even smell him. She was done with the man, and she never wanted to see him again.

The car pulled to a stop and she peaked out from her legs, he had pulled up by the Garrison. She swung the door open and rushed out of it. He watched her go, watched her run and that was when he allowed himself to be swallowed by the guilt.

Liliana sat in the cold water in her tub, it was the only type she could get, and let it numb her mind and body. She didn't even wince when the freezing water seeped into her cut on her leg. She was numb, she never wanted to feel again, she didn't want to move or breathe. Her body was numb and so was her mind, but her hands had a mind of their own when they began scrubbing her skin raw.

Her thighs and hips took blunt of the washing, it left her pale skin bright red and even bleeding in some areas. Her cold water had turned a red hue as she stumbled out of the tub, her body was freezing and so was her mind, she had no towels or anything, but she did have some older clothes she could use to dry off.

After using the smaller clothes, she put on her underwear and curled into her large jacket. She lay on the floor exhausted and hungry. And soon dozed off.

It's been a couple of weeks since the races and Liliana hasn't spoken a word to Thomas Shelby, it's made her a little lonely, but she's had a more peaceful life because of it. She did say she would wipe her hands of that lot, but she's became close with Arthur and John, the two men were hilarious, and she liked being close with them.

She knew Thomas had been trying to get her attention, but she never gave in and spoke to him. He didn't deserve her forgiveness or her words. He was nothing, and she was everything.

It was just a normal day at work, they were just cleaning up, Grace was bringing in the cigarettes and Liliana was cleaning the floor. She ignored Grace when the woman went to speak to Arthur, it was pay day for Liliana, and she was excited to be able to get an actual bedframe for the mattress that was on her floor.

After finishing cleaning, she rushes into Arthur's office and grins openly at him as he smirks at her. "Mr. Shelby." She leans back and forth on her heels, her dress hitting her shins as she sways. "Pay day!" Arthur chuckles at her, he loved having her as his employee. She was funny, sweet and charming.

"It's Arthur, Lily." Liliana shakes her head as the man hands her, her money. "There you go, sweetheart." She grins as she clutches the notes and thanks him. She then leaves his office and then wipes down the bar.

Once done, she leaves the pub and locks it behind her. She bumps into Grace who was talking to Thomas, it looked as though he was about to start shouting at her. Liliana glares at the man and speaks up, feeling how tense Grace was. "Leave her alone." She snaps at the older man, and Grace rushes away.

It was just him and her now, and she was a little scared of him, even more than before. Her hand goes to the pocket sewed into her dress, she feels the comfort of her dagger and exhales in relief. He watches her for a moment and then finally speaks. "Let's you and me go for a walk." She looks at him in confusion, but she shakes her head at the man. He glares at her from under his hat. "It wasn't a request little girl, come." He tells her.
