As Leo and I make our way through the abandoned streets.
A cold breeze comes through the steets, making me shiver.

"Jesus, When is this snow gonna melt?" I groan, causing Leo to snort.

"Quit complaining." Leo rolls his eyes. I frown,

"Fine." I huff.

We finally make it an intersection.
I see a few infected roaming around. I look around me, cussing in the process while hopping off Glitter quietly and tying her to a nearby pole.

I look back behind me and see Leo doing same. We share a look at each other before crouching over to the infected.

I sneak up behind one, quickly grabbing its mouth and stab it in the throat. Its body collapses to the ground with a thud.

I wipe my blade on my pants before getting cover by a military crate.

I see Leo grabbing a clicker and stabbing it in the neck 3 times. I glance over at the remaining infected, I hear a loud yell I look over at Leo, oh shit...

"Leo!!" I scream at the top of my lungs. The infected quickly notice me, But I don't care. I sprint over at fast as I could, my lungs start to burn. I finally get to my brother.

He's bleeding from his wrist. I glance back at the infected sprinting over. I grip my gun and shoot 3 time, hitting all of the infected in the head.

I turn to my brother, bandage ready, but his waves my hands away? Why?

"I- ah shit. Sorry sis. I'm-" He tries to say but I cut him off by pulling his hand off his wrist. I- I can't, no I won't believe this-this s-shit!

I put a hand over my mouth as I look at the site before me. There on Leo's wrist, sits a big bite Mark bleeding profusely.

"C-come on, your fine! Right? You have to be, just let me Banda-" I studder out as Leo cuts me off.

"I ain't gonna make it sis. I-I'm sorry, to leave you here all alone. But I-'m gonna go see momma, and dad. Someday I'll see you there too." He tries to act tough but tears slip through.

"I-I'm scared." He tears up.

"I know- Me too." I say, tears slipping out of my own eyes.

"I love you, Amy. Don't you ever forget that! You hear?" He says looking at me. I nod, I grip onto his jacket tightly, crying into his chest. He hugs me tightly, kissing my head before reaching for his gun.

"I love you back." I say back looking at his eyes start to close.

I grip his hand, shaking it. It doesn't move, it went limp.

"This can't be happening, right? I-t it can't. Please Leo, don't go, I need you!" I cry out. Sobbing into my hands, I slowing grab my gun, I point it at Leo's limp body. I see it start to move slightly, Tears slip as I pull the trigger.

I'm sorry..

I'm so sorry...

I wrap Leo's body the best I could with a tarp I found in a garage. I put his wrapped body on his horse, then take its lead. Before heading back to Jackson.

When I finally get to the gates, I'm uncontrollably trembling, this- this can't be happening..

I'm all alone...

I hear the guard yell that's there's a body. Soon a small group of people come out to get Leo's body.
As they get near to take him, I sudden get an overwhelming feeling...

I grip onto the tarp,

"I- I got him, I can take him! I got him!" I studder out. They give me sympathetic looks. Joel comes over the gates, his facial expression softens, he walks over to be and gently places a hand on my shoulder.

He whispers,

"Let them help you Amy, They only want to help." I look up at him. Then over to Leo's wrapped body.

I can't control this emotions anymore, I tried.

I start to sob into my hands. "He-he's my only family, I-I can't leave him!" I say in between sobs. Joel comes up and wraps his arms around me. I sob harder.

I- I can't breathe, I- can't...

"Shh- Shh, It's okay, he's in a better place now." Joel says gently while nodding to the group taking Leo's body. I just sob, letting all my emotions. Joel rubs my back, trying to comfort me while grieve.

I hear them pull his body off the horse, hearing it shuffle away.

I just cry.
