Today the League was hanging out with their trainees, so once they all came through the zeta beam they were greeted by their trainees waiting for them. Once everyone greeted each other, Robin ran ahead to his Father.
"Hey, we're supposed to dress up as someone who inspires us for school on Friday. I wanted to go as you and was wondering if I could borrow-" Robin started but was cut off by his Father.
"You CANNOT wear my Bat suit!" Batman told his son.
"Actually I wanted to borrow one of your ties and maybe a watch."
Batman was silent, to everyone else it just looked like he was grimacing but he really was trying to hold back tears.
"Uhh, Dad? Why are you sad? Is there something wrong?" Robin asked. This confused that team, Batman, Sad? He didn't look sad. Then what he did next shocked and warmed the others. Batman wrapped Robin in a hug, resting his chin in his son's head.
"AWW!" All the women said.
"Woah, Ultra Daddybats!" Flash said, then he received The Daddybats glare™ and a Bat glare™ from Robin for ruining a moment. Flash then fainted, too scared to even move.
~In the shadows of the cave~
From the shadows, sanding there was Alfred taking pictures of the moment. He had felt a Daddybats and Baby Bird moment coming miles away and silently entered the cave to capture the moment. I mean where else did you think Batman learned to hide in the shadows?
