CHANEL
I pulled infront of Cairo's club and got out grabbing Gi's bag, and letting him out. It was so much easier not having to to go through amd unbuckle him from his seat since he had already seen me do it hundreds of times.
"Can I stay extra ma?" He asked grabbing my hand and pulling me to the door. I was trying to walk slower but he wasn't having it, I didn't wanna see Cairo, I barely even wanted to keep his number in my phone. If it wasn't for Gi being alive he'd be blocked and I'd probably be somewhere else moving on with my life. Instead I'd tried to move on, but I was still stuck facing the past every week I saw his face.
"You gotta ask your dad" I told him opening the door and letting him inside. There was music blasting and a few guys working on putting up a few new decorations and speakers. I pulled Gi up walking him down the hall to where Cairo always was, you could only tell because it always smelled like pure weed where ever he was at in the building.
Before I could knock Gi opened the door and running behind the desk hugging Cairo and screaming. I hesitated but walked in slowly, keeping my distance.
"Whats wit all the huggin' you supposed to come dap me up" Cairo said giving him a side hug. Gianni didn't seem too bothered by it and did whatever he was taught which I hated. Who knows what else Cairo was telling him at this point.
"He can hug if he wants to its not a crime" I said sitting Gi's bag down on one of the office chairs. "And can you not smoke so much around him, it's not a good look when your toddler walk around smelling loud as hell" I said folding my arms.
Cairo got up staring at me, I could see his eyes roaming my body before he bit his lip and came to sit on the edge of his desk. It was like he was thinking forever on what slick shit he'd say to me next. Thankfully Gi stepped in interrupting his one man staring contest.
"Daddy I wanna stay extra can I?" Gi asked following him like a lost puppy, Cairo shifted taking his attention off me.
"If ya mama alright with it yea you can" they both turned their attention back to me, Gi tried to throw on his begging face and Cairo just looked at me blank, as always.
"I already told him yea if it's okay with you" I shrugged finding any and everything to look at to avoid his eyes.
"What you got lined up for these next few days?" Cairo asked trying to make conversation. I don't even know why I was still standing here, I was here to drop Gi off and leave nothing more nothing less.
"My business, Imma go so take care of my son please I don't need another IG post with him throwing up gang signs and I don't want him around none of ya lil girlfriends" I went over hugging Gi and of course now he wanted to squirm out of it since Cairo was right there. That was of course the part that pissed me off but like I said he was completely different with Cairo than with me.
I walked out closing the door behind me, I needed a drink and my bed back and now that I was child free for the next five days I was gonna do whatever I wanted to do!
When I got home Asha was sitting on the couch waiting for me which meant she already had something planned for us tonight.
"How did the drop off go?" She asked sitting up smiling, she was always prepared to go slice and dice Cairo if he fucked something up during our exchanges. She'd pulled a solange on him before so I'm sure she'd go all the way if I needed her to.
"It was alright, he make me uncomfortable still and the sexual tension was real as fuck girl" I said hanging my keys up and plopping down next to her.
"Yea but you ain't fucking that nigga, he ain't shit how about we go out and find you something better?"
"Nah I wanna get drunk and sleep tonight maybe tomorrow"
"Girl no we can get drunk tonight but we going out, so tell me now you wanna get one night stand drunk or just hanging with the friends drunk?"
I looked at her crazy, nothing good could come out of either one of those but Asha never took no for an answer especially when Gi was gone for a few days.
"It depends on the scene where we going?" I said giving in to her. Deep down I needed this outing, Cairo hadn't gotten Gi the past few times and that boy was running me crazy lowkey.
"I got the perfect place we heading out at 8 so do what you gotta do before then" She told me getting up.
Later....
CAIRO
I sat on the couch watching Gianni play GTA, that was usually all he did while he was over here which probably explained why he wanted to stay extra. Chanel damn sure wasn't letting him play games like this, she probably ain't let him do shit as strict as she was being.
"Your son is so cute" Deanna said smiling and watching him. I'd been fucking with her for a few weeks, she was chill as fuck but some shit was a dealbreaker with her. She wanted kids, and she kept asking when I'd make everything official with her but it just wasn't happening.
"Not cute...Sexy" Gi said looking back at her before turning back to the tv. She busted out laughing like that shit was the funniest thing in the world.
"I can't wait till we have our baby" she said putting her hand on my shoulder lookinng at me.
"We no-"
"Im hungry" Gi got up yelling and jumping between us. He probably hated this bitch but when he got older he'd understand my logic of doing things.
"What you want lil man" she asked grabbing him and placing him on her lap. He quickly snatched away and went back to sitting on the couch ignoring her.
"Can you go make him somethin' whatever he want" I told her getting up and grabbing my weed off the table. I was really considering letting her babysit so I could go handle business at my club but if anything happened to Gianni I'd probably be in the ocean dead somewhere.
"Yea I got it babe" De said reaching to grab Gianni's hand but he snatched away from her again. He got down following me outside, I swear everytime he did something he reminded me of myself.
"Go inside right quick you can't be out here right now" I told him lighting my blunt. Instead he sat on the ground playing in the grass, this nigga never listened around me this why I ain't want kids. I wasn't bout to beat him and I ain't really feel like arguing with a three year old so I let him stay.
All I know is he probably ain't staying extra this week.
