I couldn't remember how man rides we'd gotten on bettween now and the time we'd arrived. It was 10 o' clock and we were getting ready to leave. Ice had won a giant tiger for Gi to take home who was now sleeping on my shoulder. All throughout the night I couldnt shake the feeling of being followed or watched until I went to the bathroom and Cairo walked up on me.

"So you really still gonna fuck with him after I just told you what he was on" he said like he wasn't in the women's bathroom. Thankfully nobody else had come in.

"I'm not bout to do this with you nigga I'm living my life just like you living yours" I said trying to go past him, but he grabbed my arm pulling me back.

"Nah you ain't want Gianni around nobody I had but you got him round that nigga of all people thats disrespectful as fuck"

"No it's not I'm not bring multiple men in and out of my house, why am I even discussing my personal life with you anyway can you move damn" I tried getting loose of his grip but instead he just pushed me up against the wall.

"I don't care what we go through you'll always be mine" He said low enough like someone was listening. He bit his lip and backed off me and walked out, I couldn't believe he'd really just pulled that card. Even more, I couldn't believe that shit really had me feeling a way. I hated how my body betrayed me despite my mind being strong in situations.

I stood there for a minute before getting myself together and meeting Ice back at the bench he was waiting for me at. Some guy stood there talking to him but when I walked up they both quickly seemed to shift the convo.

"Aight bruh hit me later and I'll talk to you bout it" Ice said standing up and putting his arm around me. The guy shifted his eyes to me before he just nodded and walked off, it seemed like he just disappeared into the crowd.

"You ready? I know you gettin' tired" he said walking me back towards the gates.

"Yea, I wanna get Gi ready for bed and everything, he get up so early I can tell I'm not sleeping in tomorrow" I told him allowing him to keep his arm on me. I honestly felt different now, in a weird way, and Cairo's words kept replaying in my head everytime I wasn't speaking.

On the ride home I was preoccupied and I guess it was way more noticeable since Ice kept asking if I was sure I was okay. He seemed more concerned than usual which made me think that maybe he thought I'd heard some of his conversation. Or maybe he thought I was mad at him about something and at this point there was no way I could say anything about what had happened in that bathroom. I'd made my mind up and I wasn't planning on moving backwards, I'd give Ice the chance he deserved because I wanted and needed something different.

When we got to the house he walked us inside and helped me put Gi down for the night before walking me back to the room.

"You sure you good? You just real quiet all of a sudden?" He asked for the sixth time.

"Yea I'm good...did you wanna stay orrr..." I asked sitting on the bed looking up at him. His face lit up for a moment till he realised I was still looking at him.

"I mean if you just wa-"

"I want you...to" I said dragging out the last part not breaking eye contact with him.

"Aight then" he said coming over to the bed and sitting down. There was silence for a little bit, I wasn't sure if I should try to start something or if I should let him do it, but one thing was certain; I needed a distraction.

"Well if you not gonna do nothing I'm going to take a shower" I said getting up and taking my shirt off walking towards the door. He didn't move and instead watched me biting his lip. I continued undressing until I'd made it to the bathroom and started the water.
