"it's real," Frayah breathes, staring at the sky.
Some of the others look misty eyed, realizing that they can save everyone.
The sky isn't the only thing different about this world. Everything here is brighter, more unique, and more beautiful than any other place we have seen. (Except for the sparkly rainbow place we went to that made us all want to barf.) right below us, there was a forest of vibrant scarlet trees, with a lavender river running alongside us. Around that there were rolling light blue hills. And far off in the distance, there were beautiful jade hills. Luckily, right below us, there was a clearing in the forest so we didn't smack in to trees or land in the river and soak our stuff.
We hit the ground and Estyr and Matheue start to survey the area while the rest of us set up camp.
"So what is your world like?" Frayah asks me.
"well, it has more people than yours, lots more. And multiple planets. Well, multiple galixies actually. We aren't as far advanced as you, scientifically but we also generally live in harmony with most of the other people in our world. We don't have much nature though. I can't remember the last time I saw stars." I responded.
I actually do remember the last time I saw stars. It was a week ago, the day before I went home early, me and my dad sat outside gazing at the stars. It was really late, so the sky was dark enough for all of the stars to shine.
"Mags, have you ever thought about going up there someday? my dad had said."they'll never get up there dad, it was hard enough making planes fly." I had responded.
"Be optimistic Mags! One day they will find a way. And I think that you would be the perfect person to go. What if you find another world! Sentient beings!" he exclaimed.
"come on dad, be more realistic!" I told him, ever the sceptic. I never would have imagined that other worlds do exist. It makes me think that there really could be other worlds out there.
I shook my self out of my daydreams and started to get food ready.
"as soon as Estyr and Matheue come back, we'll eat and go to sleep. We need to get up early tomorrow to start searching." Fredryk says.
"where are Estyr and Matheue anyways?" Frayah asks, "they should have been back by now."
We all climb trees and start calling their names. Hoping that we might spot them or they might hear us. Suddenly, a scream comes up out of the woods, making the trees shake.
"that sounded like Estyr!" Fredryk yells, as we all slide down the trees and dash towards the sound. We reach a small clearing and see Matheue bound and gagged by a tree, with Estyr lying unconscious on the ground beside him.
"GET OUT!" yells Frayah, "THIS IS A TRAP!"
That's the last thing she says before she is in a heap beside Estyr. The last thing I see is something lighting up the sky before I feel a prick and try and fight the unconsciousness that rushes at me.
