Side Story- Angst

I stared at the screen as my eyes filling up with tears. Akiko next to me silently patting my back.

'Soon to be hero, 3rd year. Todoroki Shouto's and Yaoyorozu Momo's short but grand wedding has come to an end!'

Friends, Family, and aquaintances were invited to the grand wedding of the most powerful and successful families; The Todoroki's and Yaoyorozu's. Their vows were so sweet and full of love it made all of us tear up. And the bride's gown was fantastic. As well as the location where it was held and the cake! 

As Shouto said 'I love you from the very bottom of my heart.' quite blantly, Momo teared up. And as Momo said 'You are the only one for me. And I'd love you forever.' everyone cheered!

And of course the kiss-

"Y/n, stop reading it. You're hurting yourself even more." Akiko said taking the phone out of her hands.

She didn't even know she was reading it, her eyes just glued to the phone while her finger scrolled. She didn't bother to take the phone back. She just stared at the wall of her room, while her tears fell down her eyes like a waterfall. Then she let out a sob. Then another. It kept coming, she kept sobbing and tears continued to fall from her eyes like a never ending stream.

Akiko embraces her while also rubbing her back. Y/n held on to her dear best friend like her life depended on it. She was shaking. Akiko grew worried for the girl in her arms.

"D-Didn't he say that he loved me? Didn't he say he's fine as long as he was with me? Didn't he say he- he-" She couldn't continue as her sobs kept coming.

Akiko held the girl tighter whispering to her that it's going to be okay and that he's just a loser. 

Soon Y/n fell asleep. Akiko laid her on the bed putting the covers over her. And she too went under the covers after turning the lights off. She faced Y/n with worry in her eyes. She wished that her best friend's soulmate didn't do that. She didn't want her best friend to experience this heartbreak.

Soon she dozed off after worrying like a mother.

"Shouto?" 

The said boy turned around from the hill that we first met. But he was wearing a suit? The sunset still there but the sound of the city had dissappeared. The half-n-half- boy smiled at me walking towards me. I was confused, was this a good dream? Where me and Shouto would be together? Or a bad dream?

"I love you from the very bottom of my heart" He said and in his eyes there was something I couldn't quite place. And the way he said it had a sweet tone, but it was said quite Blantly.

And his words were familiar, like somwhere I've heard it, seen it before.

"You are the only one for me. And I'd love you forever." 

I turned around to see Yaoyorozu Momo. She was beautiful, her veil was taken off. Her hair was tied in a half-up half-down type. And her make-up was magnificent. Her white dress fit her perfectly. 

And I realized. It was their wedding. Their wedding. This dream was taunting me. Saying that he is now with Momo, and not with me. That she was the one chosen not me. She was much better than me. 

My knees suddenly felt weak as I fell down. I buried my face into my hands tears escaping my eyes. I supressed a sob, trying to stop the tears.

"You may now kiss the bride." 

I slowly looked up. Somehow I was moved and now the two were in front of me. A perfect view. But not for me.

They slowly leaned in. I didn't want to look but my body won't move. I was stuck, I was paralyzed. Slowly their lips touched and Shouto's hands held onto Momo's waist. And Momo holding onto Shouto's shoulders. Their eyes now fluttered closed. The crowed yelled in joy.

I felt like my heart was just turned into pieces. Like it was crushed by a hammer again and again. Like it was just taken and it was stabbed by a sharp knife. 

"No...No....No!" I yelled but no one heard me. No one, not a single person. 

"Please No!" I tried yelling but nobody heard me. 

Then the world turned black, just black. With stars glittering the abyss. It was like I was in space, but there wasn't any color but black. 

"I-I've always wanted to see you. It's been too long, I-I already love you so much!"

"It's fine, as long as I'm with you it's fine."

"I promise, whatever happens I'll pick you. Always you."

"We're in this together."

A voice, his voice, Shouto's voice.

"You promised that you will pick me, what happened?"

"Could have there been a world, where we could have been together?"
