It's been a few weeks since Shouto had went to that hill, and he rarely goes there since school has been taking up his time. Along with him and Momo now dating. But he doesn't love her. He acts the same around her like the way he acts with Izuku. He barely shows her affection, but Momo still loves him.
And that's why Shouto doesn't want this relationship. It was one sided. He felt sorry for Momo, because he knew that she like him. He didn't want Momo to hope that he actually loves her back. It was just false hope.
"Shouto, dinner is almost ready!" Momo yelled from the kitchen.
And Enji had forced him to live in a big apartment with Momo. Just the two of them. And people agreed since their 'almost adults now'. He really didn't want this. Momo smiled more often when they started dating. She was truly happy. But guilt weighed in his chest as he knew he didn't love her.
But he was also nervous. If he won't ever meet his soulmate. Because many things happened like that, where soulmates won't be able to see each other and they'd start a family of their own. Thoughts after thoughts plagued his mind.
"I'm coming." He replied going down the small second floor. And by small it was almost as big as his whole house.
They sat down opposite of each other saying their prayer then eating silently. The only sounds were chopsticks hitting each other the whole dinner. She was a good cook, she was wife material but he didn't love her.
As soon as they were done Shouto cleaned the dishes and changed his clothes, but not for bed but he was going outside.
"Shouto where are you going?" Momo asked her homework on the small table. She tilted her head slightly to the side.
"I'm just going for a walk, see you later." He blantly said putting on his jacket and going outside.
Momo's eyes casted downwards her heart feeling heavy. She knew he has a soulmate and here she was stealing him away from his real lover. But she just wanted at least a little bit of love from him. Just a little. She sighed and continued working on her homework.
He walked towards the familiar path, where trees would sway along with their leaves falling around his form. He stepped on leaves leaving a sound of crunching behind. He sat down on the bench, the magnificent view was still there. He closed his eyes.
A girl walked towards the same path he took, the trees' leaves falling around her. Her e/c eyes shined at the sunset. She stopped in her tracks.
Shouto quickly opened his eyes, heart was beating erratically. His breathing was slightly off. She was here. She was here. His soulmate.
The sounds of leaves crunching was heard behind him and he froze, his entire body froze. He has never been this nervous in his life. The crunching sound slowed down as it neared him.
