Chapter 3

Word had spread about Tony's disappearance and people were wondering if he was dead or not. Some people wanted to know who would run Stark Industries. Would it be Obadiah Stane or Would it could to Willa when she is 18?

Thats all the news would talk about. The magazines would have the same thing. Poor Willa couldnt get away from the disappearance of her father. The last two weeks were slowly driving into depression.

Pepper and Happy have tried everything to get Willa out of it, but it was no luck.

"Im telling you Pepper. She was right there when I left to get you." Happy says.

"She couldnt have gotten that far." Pepper says.

The two looked around the upstairs of the house, her dad's room, her room, the pool house, and they still couldnt find her.

There was only one place to check her father's lab. The two walked in slowly and they looked around the lan and they saw no sign of her.

"Okay this is bad. You dont think..." Happy says.

"She would never run away! Dont you say that!" Pepper yells at him.

"Calm down Pepper, I was just gonna say she might be heading to the base here to be close if they get a call." Happy says.

"You maybe..." Pepper says.

Pepper then stopped when she heard something. Happy was about to say something when Pepper shushed him and he too heard the sound.

Pepper followed the sound and Happy followed her. The sound brought them to Tony's red mustang. When the peaked inside they followed Willa crying in the backseat.

"Oh thank god. I was gonna call the cops. Willa Stark you scared the hell out of us!" Pepper yells.

"Easy Pepper." Happy says.

Willa looked up at Pepper her eyes stained red from crying. Pepper looked at the teen and her heart was shattered.

"Willa I didnt mean to yell at you. You just frightened me thats all. With your dad missing I cant lose you too." Pepper says.

Willa said nothing she had no words to say.

"Come on Kid. Out of the car and I'll get you some burgers." Happy says.

He opened the car door and held out his hand. Willa slowly took it and got out of the car. The three went upstairs and Happy left them to get the food he promised.

"Willa I know its scary right now and I know your worried about him. I am too...." Pepper says.

"Why doesnt he care about me?" Willa asks.

"What? Willa your father loves you. You know that." Pepper says.

Willa put her head in her hands and the tears were streaming down her face again.

"He never wanted to be around me. He was always out and doing thing. He was never with me. Its like Im nothing to him." Willa says.

"Now that is not true. Willa your dad loves you. We all do." Pepper says trying to stop her from being upset.

"Rhodey only likes me cause Im his friend's kid. Happy and you get paid to watch me. My dad wants nothing to do with me Im his mistake and.." Willa says but she was cut off.
