The Daughter

Chapter 12

Pepper had her meeting with Phil and some of his fellow agent. They were now getting ready to arrest Obadiah. Pepper kept trying to call Tony, but he wasnt answering.

So she had to called Rhodey in order to have him go and check on Tony to make sure he wasnt dead or dying.

"What do you mean he paid to have Tony killed? Pepper, slow down. Why would Obadiah... Where is Tony now?" Rhodey asks.

"I dont know. He's not answering his phone. Please go over there and make sure everything is okay..." Pepper says she then stopped and realized something that she couldnt bare to think about.

"Oh god." Pepper says.

"What?" Rhodey asks.

"I think Obadiah has Willa. Just get to Tony." Pepper says.

She hung up her phone and was now on her way to Stark Industries with Phil and other agents. Rhodey was now racing to Tony's house hoping and praying everything was okay.

Tony having a hard time getting down to his lab. He was dying and holding tightly on to his daughter's necklace. He had to crawl his way to get his old reactor.

He almost had it at reach when he missed. Though his pal Dummy got it for him.

(Sector 16)

Obadiah was placing the Arc Reactor in his suit. Ready to destroy everything and everyone Tony holds dear.

(Back at Tony's)

Rhodey got to the house and called out for his friend. He went down to the lab and saw Tony on the ground.

"Tony are you okay?" Rhodey asks.

"Where's Pepper?" Tony asks.

"She's fine. She's with agents. They're about to arrest Obadiah... She also thinks...Rhodey says.

"He has Willa." Tony says holding up the necklace.

"Those five agents.. Thats not gonna be enough." Tony says.

(Stark Industries)

Pepper arrived with the agents and lead the way to Sector 16. They broke into the sector and Obadiah got into his suit.

(Back at Tony's)

Tony got into his suit.

"That is the coolest thing I have ever seen." Rhodey says.

"It is isnt it. Lets do this. Lets save Willa." Tony says.

"You need me to do anything else?" Rhodey asks.

"Keep the skies clear." Tony says and flies out of his house.

(Stark Industries)

The agents and Pepper looked around. Sure they were looking for Obadiah, but Pepper was also looking for Willa.

Pepper then went over to the sound of the chains jingling when she saw it. Obadiah in his suit killed some agents and Pepper ran out and got a call from Tony.
