The Daughter

Chapter 4

Willa took a deep breath and Happy looked back at her. She nodded at him and he got out of the car and went over to her door and let her out.

As she got up everyone was looking at her unsure what to do. Everyone knew the Willa thing so they were unsure what to do.

"Everyone back up. Willa what are you doing here?" Pepper asks walking through the crowd.

"I just want to feel close to my dad." Willa says.

Awwws were heard throughout the crowd as was everyone murmuring about wanting to speak or even just put her in their writings or papers.

"Ms.Potts can we please hear what the girl has to say about all of this?" A reporter asks.

"Tony Stark is gone and we dont know if he'll be back or not. Though we do have a Stark here. The only one we havent talked to about this. We talked to you, Obadiah, James Rhodes, and even Hogan here. It would be nice to hear from the child." Christine says.

All the other reporters agreed with that statement and Pepper looked over at Happy. He just shrugged his shoulders and then she looked over at Willa.

"If Willa wants to talk about it then I guess its okay. Wills you dont have to talk and they cant take any photos or anything. Its your call." Pepper says.

Willa looked at her and then the people  who worked for the media.

"I think I have too. Just in case." Willa says.

"Okay then... Just this once you guys get Willa, but just this once. Unless Tony comes back and says otherwise." Pepper says.

The cameras were now on and the clicking of the photos all on Willa and everyone saying things over each other.

"Hey one at a time." Pepper says.

"Alright. Willa, Your father has gone missing. How have you been coping with this?" Christine asks.

"Not very well. It hurts. My heart goes out to anyone who has ever been through this kind of thing." Willa says.

"Do you believe he's alive?" A reporter asks.

"I dont believe it. I can feel it. I know he's out there and I know Uncle Rhodey will find him." Willa says.

"And if what he finds isnt good who will run Stark Industries? Will it be Stane?" Another reporter asks.

"I dont want to think about that, but if the worse is to come... I... I... I wouldnt want Stane running anything. I dont trust him. I have never trusted him. I dont like him. There is something off with that man. So if my father is gone I hope he left a will giving the company to anyone, but Stane. He could leave it to a monkey and that would be better.... I..." Willa says.

"Willa thats enough. Such a strange child. Reminds me or Maria Stark. That woman said the same things, but have I done wrong? I dont think so... Its just a teen with strange random issues." Obadiah says pushing through the crowd.

"She's just alittle rascal. 14 years old, going through puberty, you know body changes, periods, hormones, her father never being a father, and now he is missing. So this young teen is lashing out and she would never talk bad about Hogan cause he takes her places she wants to go while spending Daddy's money. Oh and of course she cant snap at Pepper the one who thinks that Willa is her child and not just a job. So she takes it out of me cause she doesnt know me as well as them. Its was never my job to babysit." Obadiah says placing his hand on Willa's shoulder.

"A lost soul.. Kid, you dont belong here and if or when your dad never comes back then you can watch me run the company." Obadiah says.

Willa backed away from him and Pepper pulled Willa close to her. Everyone was murmuring saying how everything Obadiah was saying his right. Willa couldnt contain her anger anymore.
