Chapter 7

Age 10

Lyra's POV

A new hero came into the spotlight recently and I find it cool that he has wings like I do. His name is Hawks and he is already a very popular hero, and he only showed up in the media for the first time a few months ago.

I was watching a few YouTube videos of some hero's when the door of my room burst open.

"I am here! to ask Lyra something!" All Might shouts making a pose in front of my door. You may ask if I find this weird, no I do not because I have known this guy for five years now, as long as I can remember. I'm used to it.

"What is it uncle Toshi?" I ask turning my chair to face him.

"I wanted to ask if you wanted to to do some training with me out in the woods, Aizawa says your ahead of your studies and I figure it would be a good change of pace," he says and I lay back in my chair to think for a moment.

"That sounds fun, I will ask dad, when do we go?" I asked and he dramatically gives me a thumbs up.

"We leave tomorrow!!" He says and I run into dads office.

"Hey dad, can I go with uncle might to do some training?" I asked him pleadingly.

"How long?" dad asks and I immediately turn around and poke my head out the door.

"How long will we be there uncle?!!" I ask shouting so he can hear me from upstairs.

"Three to four days!!" Uncle might shouts and my dad heard the answer.

"Alright you can go, that will give me time to focus on my students at school," he says and I gave him a big hug.

"Your the best dad," I say and he chuckles a little hugging me back.

"Alright go get ready, I am assuming you are leaving tomorrow," he says and then I nodded heading for the door but then turned back to him.

"How did you know we were leaving tomorrow, I never told you," I asked and he shook his head.

"He is known to pull last minute things on people," he says turning back to the homework he has to grade for his students.

We made it to the little camp ground surrounded by forest. Nobody was here because uncle might had rented it for the next few days.

"I have a surprise for you Lyra," All might says as we got out of the car. I saw another car not too far away and the person who came out was.

"Grandpa Torino!!" I shout as I ran up and almost hugged the life out of him. I haven't seen him for a while so this is nice.

"It's good to see you too kid," he says and then the car he was in left.

"Was that a cab?" I asked and Torino smiled.

"I am too small to drive so yeah when I need to go somewhere far I get someone else to drive me." He says and we start the training.

Three days in and we are having a great time I have improved my quirks. Learned some hand to hand combat skills and we had some fun.

I think my favourite fun things so far was swimming, trying to catch a fish and roasting Marshmallows.

A few other people showed up to join us on the night we had marshmallows so we had a good time telling scary stories.
