Ladybug and Chat Noir stood with their backs against a pillar on a cold, winter night. Tonight was the night. They were finally going to reveal their identities. Ladybug felt a shiver shoot down her spine, but she knew it wasn't because she was cold. She couldn't believe this was happening. She reached back and grasped for Chat's hand, but couldn't find it. She could sense him though. She knew he was there. She completely trusted him. After all, it seemed like they had been partners forever. She felt safe and excited knowing what was to happen.

Ladybug was used to bottling up her emotions and feelings. She was good at hiding. She never revealed this secret to anyone. She knew he had the same secret. It was only fitting that they share their secrets now. And now, they no longer needed to hide.

"Spots off," she whispered.

"Claws in," she heard him whisper in return. She took a deep breath.

"Show yourself," she started.
"I'm dying to meet you!"

"Show yourself; it's your turn," he replied, not wanting to go first.

Ladybug chuckled. Was he the one she'd been looking for? The one she'd been waiting for? All of these thoughts raced through her mind as she trembled with excitement. She was ready to know who he was.

She had never felt more certain than she had in that moment. She knew that it was time. She had gone back and forth on the idea for a long time, but ultimately, she knew it should happen now. It felt right. She was there for a reason. She felt as though she was born for this exact moment. This was the day she would find all of the answers she needed.

The adrenaline rushing through her veins stopped her from trembling. She was simply ready to meet her partner. They'd come so far from where they were at the beginning of this partnership! This was the moment, the answer she'd waited for for so long!

They stood there, backs against the cold pillar on that roof, anxiously waiting for one of them to turn around. They didn't want to wait a moment more.

"Let's turn on 3," Chat suggested. Ladybug agreed.

"3..."
Come to me now, open your door, don't make me wait one moment more! (What even is this anymore 😂😂)
"2..."
Come to me now, open your door, don't make me wait one moment more!
"1..."

As they both turned around, a gust of icy wind flew past them. It blew all the way to the Seine River. They both had fond memories there on that bridge. Countless battles as Ladybug and Chat Noir, and several moments as Marinette and Adrien. That thought sent a shiver down Marinette's spine as she truly saw her parter for the first time.

Marinette felt tears in her eyes as she saw Adrien. It might've been because of the wind, or it might've been because her most trusted friend and the boy she loved were the same person. Marinette went up to Adrien and threw her arms around him. He returned her embrace wholeheartedly.

They both finally felt whole.

They were found.

And they'd never be lost again.
