Hi I'm back with an update that's late at night. I generally try and get a chapter out every Thursday but sometimes I post them really late so I'm sorry about that.  Also Hajime's birthday was the 15th of this month. Happy (Late) Birthday Hajime!

Anyways a few things from next Thursday and a week and half from then I'm going to be traveling so I don't know if I'll have time to write and upload chapters for the next two weeks. I will try my best to get them out, I promise. The next chapter or the one after will be a request, I just had to write some that I already had planned out in my head.

I'm sorry that this one-shot fell a bit short of 1,000 words, I really didn't want to drag this one out to point where it'd be hard to read.  If there are any mistakes I'll probably fix them tomorrow morning.

Lastly I have to mention, I love Mao so so much. He is the sweetest person ever and deserves the world. Ok now to the one-shot!

"Hi! What can I help you with?" Asked (Y/N).

"Well," the red-haired male looked down sheepishly, "I wanted some help with schoolwork, I kinda fell behind. You're really busy so it's okay if you the time to help me."

"No, it's fine! That way we can both get work done. Let's meet up in the classroom that Anzu and I normally use for producer work after school on Wednesday since Trickstar doesn't have practice."

*~*~*

That conversation between Mao and (Y/N) took place two days ago and now the young producer was fidgeting with her hair in the classroom waiting for her crush, Mao.

She took a deep breath; she could keep a calm demeanor on the outside but on the inside, she was an absolute mess. A knock at the door snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Can I come in?" Asked a voice muffled because of the door.

"Yeah of course!" (Y/N) replied brightly.

Mao walked in and sat next to (Y/N) with a small stack of papers in his hands. "It's okay if we can't finish it all, I just need to get the basic stuff down."

The girl stared at the papers, "it's not a lot, we should be able to get through it all within a few hours."

"Really?"

She nodded, "Yeah, I know you're a hard worker, I believe in you. Honestly, I'm surprised that you were able to keep up with being an idol, a student, be in a club, and on the student council all this time. You never gave up, it's admirable."

A faint blush colored his cheeks from all the praise he was receiving from her. "Thank you, it means a lot."

"Anytime! Anyways Mao-kun let's begin!"

She and him got through half the papers in no time, but the second half gave a little more trouble since it was more difficult and complex to both explain and understand.

"This... is tiring." Mao groaned his pencil falling out of his hand. He looked tired and stressed.

She frowned; he needed a break. "Hey Mao-kun? If you're feeling stressed out let's take a small break. Here have some water," She said, handing the male her water bottle, "it'll help clear your mind. It always helps me."

He gratefully accepted the water bottle and tried to relax. He put his head in his hands and took a few deep breaths. When he looked back up, he locked eyes with (Y/N) with a determined look in his emerald eyes. She gave him a warm smile, "Let's start."

*~*~*

(Y/N) had just finished her work for the day and she looked over at her classmate. He was staring intently at his paper, his eyes lit up when he figured out how to do the problem. He seemed to be having less trouble now, he hadn't asked her once for help after taking the break.

(Y/N) put her head on the desk and stared at Mao doing his work. Slowly her eyelids began to droop, and she fell asleep with a small smile on her face.

*~*~*

After a bit, Mao finished his work, he turned to (Y/N) but he found her sleeping on the desk. He smiled, she's cute. He gathered his belongings as well as hers.

He looked back over to her, he decided to let her sleep for a few more minutes. He went on his phone when he heard a whimper. He turned to the still asleep producer and saw her eyebrows were furrowed and despite her being asleep she seemed anxious. He panicked, she was probably having a nightmare, he pats her head in an attempt to calm her down.

Suddenly she sat up with her eyes wide. When she saw Mao, she broke down in tears as she wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a hug. She cried into his chest. Between sobs she said, "don't leave us... ever...."

Mao was a little confused but hugged her back and comforted the girl, nonetheless. "Shhh, it'll be okay. I'm here and I won't abandon you... ever."

Slowly she calmed down and her breaths evened out. The two pulled away but just enough that their arms didn't leave the others figure.

"I-I'm sorry for that. I had a bad dream; it was kind of like the time when Trickstar almost disbanded. It really hurt, but I'm happy everything worked out in the end." She looked up at Mao, her eyes glossy with tears. "And I even fell asleep while you were working, and I got your shirt all wet." She gave a sad laugh, "I really am sorry for all this."

Mao shook his head, "no, you have nothing to apologize for, thanks to you I was able to do my work no problem." He leaned over to cup the producer's cheeks, "you and Trickstar mean a lot so I would never leave you. The thing that caused your nightmare stemmed from the decisions made earlier this year. It was caused by us so if anyone should be apologizing it should be me. So, I'm sorry (Y/N)."

The girl whispered, "thank you for being there when I needed you the most."

Mao gave her a bright smile in return, "we should head home now. I'll walk you home, since it's really late."

The two walked out the building hand in hand. No words were spoken but they both knew that the feelings they harbored for each other were mutual.
