tuesday- day before game
aliza pov*
yesterday mattia was acting weird once again like he didn't like me or something. im so tired of it it's annoying anyways we have practice today right now i'm in 5th period, "hey aliza" kai says, "oh hey your hoodie! i forget" i say, "oh i said u could keep it" he says, "no it's okay. i feel bad. also i get one this week for the team" i smile, "oh okay" he says.

*practice*
right now coach made me go back to his office to get the papers on schools we r playing so i had to walk back into the locker room as i am finding them mattia walks in , "hey" i smile, he looks up at me but doesn't respond, "okay i don't understand" i say, "hm?", "you are so confusing." i say, "well at least ion like my cousin bsf" he mumbles, "ion like kai stupid shut the fuck up. at least im not always in such a bad mood" i say, "at least i'm responsible" , "at least im not as ugly as you" i say, his jaw clenched, "at least my fucking parents are still together and i didn't have to move across the damn US just to live with my fucking cousin" he yells as my heart drops, "ok" i say grabbing the papers and leaving, "aliza! i-" he says chasing me, "fuck off mattia. i don't care. you wanna be ignorant? ok do that. but you had no right to bring up my parents at all" i say slamming the locker room doors.
i get to coach trying not to show tears, "what took so long" he asks, "sorry i couldn't find them at first" i say, "okay", he starts talking to the team, as i sit on the bench. i see mattia walking out of the locker room, he glances over at me but i pull out my phone.
after practice i wait outside for the boys, "ima walk home today guys" mattia says as we are walking towards my car, "why? ur house is far?" kai says, "for real just come" ale says, mattia gives me a look, "mkay" i say, the car ride i was silent but ale and kai were hella talkative...after we drop everybody off ale's mom makes us get pizza from pizza hut for dinner.

ale was asleep so were his parents , in my little shirt and shorts i take my phone and go outside, "what mattia?" i say as he's standing there in the cold, "im really sorry. i had no right to bring it up. i was pissed" he says, "whatever. why were you pissed?" i say, "cause u and kai" he says, "huh? we aren't anything, plus why do you care" i say, "because-.." he stops and our lips touch, his lips were soft and warm. "i'm sorry" he says stopping, i almost leave annoyed, "wait! i like you aliza. i know i'm a douche most of the time. but when you comforted me, let me sleep on the couch here, and after we had that connection at my party, i've had this side thats soft for you. i like you and i realized that after you got drunk and i cared for you so much i realized how perfect and beautiful you really are" he pauses, "and i'm sorry for saying and for being a dick" he finishes, "mattia🥺, i caught feelings but you confused me i thought you hated me" i say, he grabs my face and we kiss...
