chapter 12

aliza's pov*
i wake up and get dressed than do my makeup and hair, after i see mattia and my dad talking, "good morning" my dad says as i stand at the top of the stairs, "good morning" i smile at mattia and he stares at me, "you two ?" i laugh, "your boyfriend was telling me about the soccer team and everything" my dad says as i grab a banana, "that's good" i smile, we converse for a while when ale comes down too but eventually it's time to leave for school. the boys get into ale's car after saying goodbye , i hug my dad tightly before letting go, "i love you" he says holding my hand , leaving the house tears drop from my face .

"hey guys im just gonna drive myself" i say peeping into the boys window, "want me to come with?" mattia asks, "no it's okay" i lie. i get into my car w my phone and backpack than back out , i take the long way to school so i could think but i realize im going to be late as my phone is being spammed i quickly drive a couple streets to the school.
i jump off my car and pace to my first period, right as the bell rings i sit in my seat, i look back and mattia makes a confused look, 'sorry' i mouth.

after class mattia grabs onto my hand, "you okay? don't lie because i know you. you're not okay. im sorry about your dad, i know how much you value him. try to think aboht all good and how you will be able to see him on holidays" mattia says soft, "i know. i'm sorry. if i'm acting weird i'm just upset. thank you" i say, he kisses my cheek, "you shouldn't have to apologize for having feelings".

*practice*
at the end of the day i kept my mind off of my dad.
right now im going over w the team about who we are playing while coach is setting up a different practice. while the boys practice mattia repeatedly looks up at me, "you okay" he mouths while behind kai, "yes" i mouth back smiling...
