Flashback (Light At The End Of The Tunnel )

Chase was in his office finishing some paperwork he had from the day before, when his office phone went off, "Chase Hudson's office" he spoke boldly "Mr.Hudson your husband is on line two he says it's urgent" Linda, his receptionist spoke, "thanks linda".

"Dillion, why are you calling my office, you know I have my phone on me right" he spoke softly to his husband "baby, I'm at the police station, I tried calling your cell but I couldn't get through, I need you to come and bail me out" Dillion spoke frantically, "what!! Why are you locked up" chase yelled into the phone "I'll explain when you get here" Dillion spoke before the call ended abruptly.

Chase and Dillion sat in the car, still parked at the police station, not saying anything to each other, Chase already knew what had happened because the officer who locked Dillion up had informed him of everything, but he wanted to see if Dillion would lie. "Why were you locked up?", "It was a mistake" Dillion exhaled loudly and raked his fingers through his hair as he had his head held down in embarrassment "so you're telling me you mistakenly let some 18 year old suck your dick" Chase spoke raising his voice, "I just.... I don't know why I did it", "that's..fucking..bullshit" Chase said banging on the staring wheel "you fucking knew what you were doing and for someone so smart you sound dumb as fuck" Chase was fuming and it was the first time Dillion has ever seen him gotten so mad that he's cursing so much, so he knew he fucked up, "I was lonely, you never make time for us, you come home late at nights and leave early in the mornings, I never see you anymore and we live in the same house" Dillion yelled trying to justify his actions, Chase scoffed "okay, so it's my fault you cheated, cool, say no more". Chase started the car before Dillion could say anything, turned the music up and drove home.

Chase has not spoken to Dillon unless he definitely had to, when they were around family he pretended as though everything was okay because he did not want his mom and sister to know his husband cheated on him with a 18 year old, that's embarrassing. No matter how many times Dillion tried to talk to chase he would just give him one worded answers or just walk out the room if Dillion entered it, but their was still an infinitesimal part of Dillion's brain that still had hope that they could fix their relationship.

Chase was at work one day when linda alerted him that there was a young man creating a scene in the lobby insisting on seeing him, so he told security to hold onto the person until he got there.

When Chase saw who it was he immediately told them to release the person and Chase then proceeded to take them to his office.

"I would ask how you know where I work but I'm assuming you did some digging on my husband and I" Chase spoke amusingly to person sitting across from him, "actually I did, the name's Ethan by the way ", "oh I know who you are, what I wanna know is why did you show up here creating a scene, were you not embarrassed enough that you got caught giving head in a car and was locked up" Chase said amusingly because he was really and truly amazed that Ethan really had no class.

"I just came to tell you that I'm sorry you couldn't satisfy your husband so he had to seek comfort from me", Chase burst into a full fit of laughter after hearing what he just heard, after he calmed down he looked Ethan directly in the eyes "so you mean to tell me you skipped school to come to my workplace, that I own, to tell me that you're sorry for sucking my husband's dick" Chase asked and he could see that it pissed Ethan off that he found it so amusing, "I don't get why you're laughing when I literally had your husband, he even used y'all's money to buy me this outfit and this iPhone" Ethan boasted, "is that it?? Is that all he bought you?? Honey that's nothing, come talk to me when he's bought you a house or a car, he even gave me his last name and as for me not satisfying him, I sure never had any complaints when I sat my fat ass on his dick, you probably sucked him off a few times after we've fucked, which means you know how my ass taste, so I can't even tell you to kiss my ass" Chase spoke menacingly because he just about had enough of this kid, Ethan just sat there dumbfounded because he underestimated Chase "listen to me Ethan, don't ever show your face here again do you hear me" Chase leaned forward and raised his eyebrows meaning he wanted an answer "yes I heard you", "good, now get the fuck out", Ethan stood so abruptly that the chair he was sitting on knocked over, he took it up and scurried out the door.

Chase had a satisfied smirk on his face, he just shook his head and went back to work.

Chase pulled up in his driveway and saw that Dillion was home and exhaled before getting out the car. He went inside and called for Dillion, because while he was at work he thought about his marriage and whether he wanted to throw away all the time he had invested in it down the drain, and he chose to work on his marriage.

Dillion came downstairs and stood staring at his husband who had barely spoken to him "I think we should get counselling, I booked a session with a therapist and it's in 2 days" Chase spoke before walking away to go to their bedroom. Dillion stood shocked, a small smile slowly making its way on his face, because it was then that he knew there was light at the end of the tunnel.
