"Dillion I want to leave, I can't be around you right now" dillion was still on his knees looking at his husband with pleading eyes "chase you can't leave me, I need you, you're carrying my baby, our baby, honey please just give me a chance to explain myself", chase's eyes softened from the glare they held and he suddenly became really calm at the mention of their unborn child "Ok, let's go" he responded and walked away leaving dillion on his knees.

The ride home was so awkward you could cut the air with a knife, dillion knew he had a lot of explaining to do and he could only hope after he said his piece, that chase would forgive him and they could move forward.

When dillion pulled in the drive way and parked the car by the time he got out to open his husband's door, chase was already out the car and walking towards their home, dillion sighed and followed behind his husband.

When he got inside chase was sitting on the living room couch, dillion stood still, watching, waiting, until he heard chase's angel like voice "come over here, you said you wanted to explain so go ahead and explain" dillion walked over with his eyes locked on chase and slowly knelt down infront his husband and took his hands in his.

"About a month ago I had went to the doctor to get a check-up because I wasn't feeling too well. They ran all sorts of tests on me and everything was all good until I had to get a cat scan. The doctor found something unusual so he did some more tests. A couple weeks ago he called me in his office, it was the day that I told you I had a meeting with some new clients, anyway, the results came back, he found a tumor and it's cancerous" he told chase and it was like his whole life shattered all over again.

"Baby, why would you hide this from me" chase was now full on sobbing "we made vows to each other I promised I would be with you through sickness and in health until death do us part"

"I know honey and I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry, this was why I didn't want us to have a baby because I  might not be here to see it grow up" those words broke dillion's heart and chase finally understood why his husband was so determined not to have a baby with him, chase suddenly felt guilty.

"I'm so selfish, here you are going through something so serious and all I was thinking about was myself, I even threatened to leave you, I'm a terrible human being" chase spoke barely above a whisper but dillion heard ever single word he said.

"Look at me" dillion hooked his index finger under chase's chin and tilted his head up "you didn't know baby, you had no way of knowing, I'm the bad guy here ok?? Not you,  I kept this huge secret from you and I almost lost you because of it so I'm kneeling before you right now, letting you know, I'll never keep something so big from you ever again, I love you baby and I would never intentionally hurt you", chase cracked a smile "I love you too, so so much" chase then slapped dillion "don't you ever lie to me again " he engulfed his husband in a bone crushing hug after and they both started laughing.

Chase pulled from the hug and  looked in his husband's eyes "we are going to get through this, you hear me and you're going to watch our child grow up and you're going to be the best dad in the world"

"We have to tell our parents, we can plan a family dinner so we can tell everyone together" chase added with finality in his tone.

"Ok, I start chemo in a week and I want you to be there  for every session" dillion stated

"I was gonna be there whether you liked it or not" chase smirked, dillion laughed and pulled him in for a kiss.

"Am i allowed to sleep in our bed tonight or is the couch going to be my new best friend" dillion spoke hoping he could sleep beside his husband but if chase said he's sleeping on the couch, well, that's where he's sleeping🤷.

Chase chuckled "all that has happened and you only want to know if you can sleep in our room?😂😂"

"You know I can't sleep without you baby" dillion said giving chase sad puppy eyes which chase always fell for.

"Fine, you can sleep in our bed, but no sex for you mister, you're in time out" chase stood and walked off towards their room with dillion trailing behind him like a lost pup.

"What!! Baby no, don't do this to me, please" dillion pleaded which only caused chase to look at him in disbelief.

"are you seriously begging for some ass?, wow dillion, it's not that big of a deal" chase was so close to bursting into a full fit of laughter because of his husbands behaviour.

"First off all its not just 'some ass' sex with you is amazing, it's like crack baby and I'm definitely..... addicted" dillion shot back looking at his husband from head to toe "You're looking so sexy right now baby" he bit his lip and took a step closer but chase held out his hand to keep him away.

"Omg, dillion, you're insatiable you kbow that" chase said laughing, "you can go a few weeks without it baby, it's not gonna kill you ".

"Ofcourse I might die, babe, you don't understand" dillion tried and tried to convince chase but it was all in vain.

At the end of the day they just cuddled up and went to bed and even though dillion would have love to have had some mind blowing makeup sex with his husband he still wouldn't trade this for the world.

He loved his husband and he hopes he's alive to see his baby being born and his family blossom.
