Tell Me You're Joking

Today was the day chase finds out if he is really pregnant or not and he is beyond excited. This is all he dreamt of, getting married and starting a family.

Chase woke up hours before his appointment, he got breakfast ready for his husband and went back to their room to wake the older man up.

"Honey??" He gently whispered, dillion groaned out and slowly fluttered his eyes open, he'd always been a light sleeper, a smile made its way on his face when his eyes focused on his beaming husband.

"Goodmorning" he spoked sleepily, chase then leaned in and placed a kiss on his lips but quickly pulled back "your breath stinks", "oh really " dillion asked with a mischievous smirk on his face, chase nodded and scrunched his eyebrows together and began backing away from his husband as sudden realisation hit him "dillion don't you dare" he spoke seriously but it was too late, dillion launched himself at him and attacked his face with kisses.

Chase was screaming and trying to get out of dillions hold but he was too weak for the much stronger man.

After dillion finished his assault on his husband he got up and went to brush his teeth. "Breakfast is all ready downstairs so don't take too long" chase told him as he walked out of the room.

After the two finished eating and packed away the dishes they went in their room to get ready for the doctors appointment.

They were now in the car on their way when dillion suddenly held onto chase's thigh "I just want you to know that whatever happens i am 100% onboard and I love you", chase placed his hand ontop of his husband's and smiled "I love you too", the rest of the car ride was silent but it was a comfortable silence.

They finally got to the doctors office and the Secretary  checked them. They were sitting and waiting until she finally came out "Mr and Mr Hudson the doctor would like to see you now", they both stood up and walk down the familiar hallway.

The knocked and entered the office and greeted Craig; their personal doctor.

"How are you feeling today chase" Craig asked "I'm still having the nausea it seems to just get worse as the days went by" chase responded truthfully. "okay, well let's check to see if you have a little bun in the oven" Craig spoke happily "lay on that bed over there and lift your shirt " Craig instructed. Chase moved towards the table and tried to get on it but he was too short so dillion had to lift him on it "this is why I married you" he giggled as dillion looked at him with fake hurt and held his chest "and here I thought it was because of my charming personality" he replied, chase just rolled his eyes at him because he was being dramatic.

"Okay guys let's get this thing started" Craig spoke approaching them "this might feel a little cold" he then said again, he lathered chase's stomach with a gooey substance and took a wand looking thingy and started pressing it against chase's stomach.

"Oh wow" Craig spoke, chase got a bit worried "what? Why wow? What happened?", Craig chuckled a bit "well it looks here that dillion is indeed going to be a daddy, congrats man" he spoke looking at the couple "and if you listen you'll hear" before he could finish the baby's heartbeat could be heard, it was the most melodious sound chase had ever heard.

Chase began to sob, he was such a cry baby, well who could blame him this has been all he wanted and now he's got it, dillion engulfed his husband in a tight hug and kissed all over his face until he could even taste chase tears "you've made me the happiest man in the world baby" he told chase "really?" Chase asked "ofcourse honey, you have my child growing inside you, what more could i possibly ask for" he confessed truthfully, chase just grabbed his face and kissed him like it was his last.

After they finally got chase to stop crying Craig went over a few stuff with him, but chase pretty much knew all he needed to do already because he always researched and questioned his pregnant friends. Chase wanted so many copies of the ultra sound but dillion convinced him to only get 4, Craig prescribed him some prenatal vitamins and they were about to leave when dillion told him to wait in the car because  he wanted to catch up a little with Craig.

He kissed his husband and told Craig bye and left.

"So I'm assuming you still haven't told him yet" Craig spoke disappointingly "I can't, you see how happy he is, I'll ruin that and I don't want him to be stressed it's not good for the baby" dillion ranted, "he's stronger than you think dill, he's your husband and he deserves to know you have a fucking tumour growing on your brain" Craig was getting upset with dillion because he thought he was being selfish by not telling his husband he was sick.

"You start chemo therapy in 2 weeks, you have to tell him", dillion just nodded and proceeded to walk out but as soon as he opened Craig's office door he was face to face with his fuming husband.

"I forgot to get the car keys from you, but it's a good thing i did because if I hadn't then I wouldn't have heard what I heard" chase was beyond mad at him, "how could you do this to me dillion, I'M YOUR HUSBAND!!.. I'm your husband and I deserve to know" ..."I know baby and I was--" .. "shut up!!! Shut up and listen while I talk" chase spoke menacingly cutting dillion off who was so shocked he immediately shut his mouth "I have put up with a lot from you and I always stuck by you when everyone was against you even your parents until they finally came around, I did it because I love you, and i I know i can be annoying and I know i care too much for people and always put other needs before mine but that's who I am and if  you love me like you say you do i deserve better, I will be there for you every step of the way and I'll be there with you at every appointment, but, I want you to move out dillion, I can't do this anymore"

Dillion stood there flabbergasted, he never in a million years thought chase would leave him, it never even crossed his mind.

"No baby, I'm so sorry" dillion was now on his knees sobbing holding onto chase "I can't do this without you, I need you". Chase felt he was all cried out hence why he stood there emotionless looking at dillion.

"Give me the car keys I'm leaving" chase held his hand out, "tell me you're joking" dillion pleaded..........
