"Come on Gemma it's just a small party" Cal urges our best friend.

Gemma is a sweet little blond girl with beautiful icy blue eyes. I always like to joke that if I stare into them for too long I'd be mesmerized by their beauty and fall in.

Unlike my melted chocolate orbs with gold specks and Calista's pools of honey, which were brought out in the sunlight. Her icy blues would pop out no matter what.

"Calli you know I don't do parties, I really don't want a repeat of last time," she says recalling when Amir Nelson, the school's basketball team forward (who by the way sucked) tried kissing her. She tried her best to dodge him and his rotten breath as his unkempt nails cupped her cheek.

At the last minute she moved out of the way and we all watched in awe as he fell over the snack table and spilled punch all over his white tee shirt.

We all burst out in laughter as he got up. We all laughed except Gem. She always had a bigger heart than the rest of us. She ran over and helped the boy. He glared at her, pushing her away but she was adamant about helping him.

"What are the chances of something like that happening again?" I question.

"Slim to none," Calista says, smiling.

After looking at me and Calista's begging eyes for a couple of seconds she finally gives in and sighs. "You know? One day you'll have to do your homework. And party's won't be there for you" she says grabbing some clothes out of Calista's closet before walking to the bathroom.

We were only fifteen but Kaden and Ace would let us tag along at any parties as long as we didn't talk to them or tell my or Cal's parents.

10 minutes later Gemma walked out of the washroom with her makeup and hair done and she wore ripped mom jeans and a white tank top with a zip-up over top because of the chilly fall weather. She looked beautiful. A look only Gemma could pull off in 10 minutes.

We all piled into Ace's car his parents had gotten for his 16th birthday. Ace's parents were what you call rich, but they didn't like showing it. They were old money, minus the child trafficking.

They spent money on essentials and taught their children to never rely on money for happiness. I thought that was a load of bullshit. Only someone who could afford a 4.5 million dollar home would say that.

I admire them for being humble though.

Ace pulls over at the sidewalk around the corner of Charlotte Bradly's home. I'd like to know how she could manage to have a new party every week and I was definitely confused.

Calista, Gem, and I like out of the car and wait and watch for them to park at the house before we begin walking. Kaden, Ace, Calista, and I were close enough for them to let us come here but not close enough for people to see us arriving at parties together. Hence why every time we go to one, we get dropped off at least half a block early.

When we walk in I roll my eyes at my brother who was already drunk beyond compare.

It's only been 10 minutes!
