"Arya!" Panchaali shouted as her eyes fell on the fire around her, Nakul's eyes widened as he looked around at the blaze too, his arms wrapped around his wife as he pulled her away from the burning bed. The fire was spreading around faster than he can process, he looked around a way for exit, he pulled her along shielding her from the flames, he tried to open the burning door, nothing happened, he kicked in, again nothing.

Someone had locked it, he growled angrily, he wrapped his hand around her wrist, "Why won't it open?" She asked with tears in her eyes as she looked at him, "I think it's stuck." He lied as he pulled her towards the window, he kicked it open, he looked down, they were on the first floor, he gulped he could easily jump but jumping with her is going to be risky, he didn't have time.

"Bhraatashree!" Nakul shouted making Bheem and Yudhisthir look up who were checking the horses for the departure of Nakul and Yudhisthir, Nakul had came to say goodbye to her before he left to find Mayasur, he never expected this to happen. Bheem and Yudhisthir looked up, their eyes widening as they noticed the fire, panic surged through them as they noticed their crying wife with him, they ran towards him erasing the distance between themselves and the window.  "Bhraatashree!" He shouted again as he picked Panchaali in his arms, who clung to him in fear, her eyes meeting her two husbands who stood below, their hearts clutched seeing her scared, they wanted to hug her and assure her, Bheem was stomping down the urge to destroy everything, his eyes met his brother's who held their wife, Bheem nodded as he braced his body, Panchaali screamed shaking her head, "no no no arya!" She shouted as she looked at the three, Yudhisthir's heart sq squeezed as he noticed the terror masking her face, Nakul smiled at her as he looked at her. "Time to fly princess." He whispered as he dropped a kiss on her nose, "humans don't fly!" She shot back. "But angels do!" He said with a smile as he swung her out of the window, she screamed as she shut her eyes, her heart thundering in her chest as fear gripped her heart.

Bheem caught her trembling form in his arms as Nakul jumped out of the window, a loud boom followed as the room blasted, Bheem shielded her body with his, as he fell on the ground, his body covering hers.

He straightened once the fumes cleared and looked at his wife in his arms, who was trembling, tears pouring down her cheeks, "shhh love, it's over." He whispered as he hugged her closer, she wrapped her arms around his neck as she sobbed in his arms, Yudhisthir and Nakul came rushing towards them, examining her, Bheem nodded his head as he assured them, she was fine but the question was for how long. . .

Panchaali lay her head on Bheem's thigh who sat in the enclosed chariot. He ran his hand through her hair as his mind was running a mile per hour, Drupad had insisted they take Panchaali away after the fire, he had gotten way too scared for his daughter's life, they couldn't refuse him. So now they were moving to Ang Pradesh for now. Their wedding with Panchaali had created the new question of Panchaali's living arrangements. The six pandavas were each a king of six different kingdoms, where will Panchaali live? They can't stay away from their Kingdoms because of their responsibilities, they can't stay away from Panchaali because of their love for her, life was just so confusing.

He looked down at her, she had a far off look as she traced patterns on the plush leather seat, "What are you thinking about?" He asked as he ran his hands through her long hair, since it was an enclosed chariot and the windows were covered with curtains she had gotten rid of all her heavy jewellery, her hair were open and the odhni that she wore on her head was nicely folded and kept aside as she lay her head on his thigh.

She turned her head as she lay on her back, her eyes meeting him, she met his gaze, he looked at her with a smile on his face. "What happened little one?" He asked as he noticed a worried look on her face, "What will happen now arya?" She asked as she looked at him, her eyes filled with doubts. "What do you mean princess?" He asked, a confused smile playing on his face. "We are married, heading home. What happens then? Where would I live? My entry in all your lives has created so much chaos. First you were forced to marry me, you didn't ask for it. Now what happens? Am I just a responsibility?" She asked as she looked at him, fear and doubts filling her eyes, he looked at her as he pressed his lips to her forehead. "You are not just a responsibility princess. Sure there has been chaos in our lives but it is beautiful chaos, for years now we were living a routine, life had become too boring, too meaningless. You entered our life shaking us all awake from our stupor. Sure our marriage didn't happen the way it should have been but it's still as pure and true as any other."  He whispered as he pressed his forehead to hers, she blushed as he cupped her cheeks, he pressed his lips to hers, making her heart beat wildly in her chest as his hands moved to her hair earning a moan as he pulled her in his arms making her sit in his lap.

His hands tightened in her curls making her heart thud in her chest, his hold was firm but not painful. He didn't know why but the memories of her death flooded his mind, his rough lips pressed harder against her soft ones as his hand in her hair tightened even more, her lips felt like silk just like her hair. His tongue met hers,  the kiss was soft, his lips moved in sync with hers, as his hand clutched her hair harder pulling her closer to him.

Sparks flew between them as their bond strengthened, it was like the kiss was weaving their souls together as one, making them one being instead of two different entities. Bheem knew he was the strongest, he feared nothing but now since she had entered his life he feared, he now had a weakness. She was his weakness, his one fear, that someday he will lose her.

The thought stirred a dark fear in him as he kissed her more urgently, his hands grasping her tighter, his lips pressing against her harder as though she would disappear if he let go. Her dead pale face appeared in front of his eyes, that feeling of utter loss, that feeling of being devastated when she had died came floating, he remembered, the ugly talons of terror sunk in his heart, the one damn cursed organ that loved her more than life, he loved her so much that at times his love scared him, what would he do if she left him?

Panchaali's lungs burned for oxygen, she turned her head breaking the kiss, she gasped. She took large gulps of air as he kissed down her jaw, making her body come alive with pleasure sparks. The urgency and the fear she felt in the kiss had her heart clutching painfully.

"You're mine Panchaali. Mine. Ours. No way in hell am I going to let anything happen to you." He promised as he delicately lay on her back, his eyes met hers they were red with anger and pain, "the day you died, that was the most horrible day of my life, I know we haven't known each other for long but that day I realized how much I need you, I need you more than the next breath, I need you more than my soul, with you I live Panchaali but without you I just exists. If something ever happened to you I will die..." before he could say anymore, she put her hand on his lips cutting him off. "No arya don't say so." She whispered, tears filling her eyes, as they met with the teary eyes of her husband. Her heart had a mix of emotions, she was happy to hear his confession but seeing the tears in his eyes made her heart break. "I promise arya I would never leave anyone of you." She whispered and he claimed her lips once again as they moved around hers hungrily, assuring himself that she was fine, that she was safe in his arms. . .
