Your pov.

What the fuckwhathefuckwhatthefuckwhatthefuuuuuck. Okay um holy shit. So that just happened. I felt like l had just walked in on Snape pretending a broom was my dead mother. Something traumatizing that I was not supposed to see. I paced back and forth in the common room thinking, considering.

"Maybe..." I thought aloud, "Maybe, she's just pulling a prank. Flinch's cat frozen by a spell and some red paint with a funny message about stunned cats? Yeah, yeah." I nodded along with my mummering, probably just a Halloween prank. Just a Halloween prank. I paused and gave a laugh, I'm just being ridiculous.

My stomach growled harshly and I wondered if the Halloween feast was still going on. I decide to test my luck, making my way towards the door when Ginny walks into the room. Our eyes meet both shocked at the other's presences and I glance down at her hands; one red stained and the other with a white grip on a book. She quickly shoves them both behind her back, out of my line of sight.

"Why aren't you at the feast?" she harshly snaps at me. Woah, okay honey you're 11. I can hear the panic laced in her words and keep calm knowing she's just scared of being caught.

"Wasn't hungry, honestly forgot about it." I reply coolly.

"How do you forget about Halloween?" She questions with her faced scrunched up at me, judging my entire existence on forgetting the amazing holiday.

I shrug, "Our family didn't celebrate it- well. Harry and I weren't allowed to celebrate it. So, guess it just slipped my mind."

Her facial expression softens, likely confirming my statement with her background knowledge of the assholes and anti magic dicks our aunt and uncle were. I debate for a second if I should press her for answers, but before I could think it through my mouth was moving faster than my mind.

"Why aren't you at the feast?" I could see her defenses immediately go up at my retorting question and I quickly try to lighten the intruding statement, "Halloween pranks? If so you let me know, I'd love to help next time." I joke with a smile and she smiles back slightly, then her face turns to a look of discomfort and she places her red handed forearm across her body, noticeably careful to not get red on her uniform.

"Are you okay?" I ask concerned at the sudden change in her demeanor

"Um, yeah. Just. Hungry I guess, I kind of skipped it cause I wasn't. Guess I was wrong." Struggling to even get out her words, she still manages to give a painful smile.

"I was going to see if the feast was still going on, maybe I can bring you some-" she quickly interrupts me.

"NO! No, I'm fine. I'm just going to bed. Goodnight." Before I could stop her, Ginny rushed off and disappeared into the girls room. I feel my lips fall into a frown, my stomach gives it's own sharp pain and I'm reminded of my mission for food.

I exited the Gryffindor dormitory, speed walking down the halls. My shoes tapped against the marble stone of the castle floors and I try to keep a constant sound with my steps only to stumble over my two feet. I catch myself against the stone wall, but scrape my hand on the rough rock causing a gash of blood to drip out. I growl annoyed, considering going to my favorite "witch doctor", but I was already nearing the dinning hall and decide that my hand can wait till after my stomach is taken care of.

Rip...

   what..

                     is..

                          Tear...

                                                          That...

                                                                             KILL

                Oh not this shit again.

I recognized the voice from Lockhart's office. That cold deadly voice that made my skin crawl. I stopped and leaned in my stance towards where I believed the voice to be coming from. I hear it again this time so close I could swear it was just a short distance from me.

So Hungry...

                                  For so Long

Suddenly, I'm overtaken in pain and collapse to my knees. My arms wrapped around my stomach that convulses with hunger, I felt like I hadn't eaten in years. I was starving. The stabbing pain blurred my vision and the hallway began to spin around me. I throw one hand to my mouth, the pain and spinning completely nauseating, I feel vomit in my throat and forced myself to swallow it down. It leaves behind the sour taste of stomach acid that burned my throat. I was so focused on not puking that I almost missed the sound of something smooth running against the stone ahead of me.

"Kill." The voice was clear as day now and coming from just a few yards ahead, I felt pure terror throughout my body as I hear it approach me. I was frozen by the terror, the pain, and knew better than to open my eyes or I was going to vomit. I was in no fighting condition, so I just focused on the voice and where it was. I could feel something large right next to me. It paused there before speaking again, "Time To KILL"

"I smell blood. I smell blood." It spoke right near my ear, my mind began to panic. Should have.. Madame.. help. Tears fell from my shut eyes, tiny whispers tempted me and told me to open them. I should at least know who my killer will be, but the acid in my throat reminded me to keep them shut. If I was going to die I would rather my corpse not be stained by vomit. I felt so helpless. The floor where the voice spoke was wet and I could hear a large mouth opening with a hiss. The sound is interrupted by a loud chatter of voices in the distance.

I felt the being move away from me, feeling the disappointment in its leave from it's unsuccessful kill and just like that the pain in my stomach began to disappear. I risked opening my eyes and look around quickly to find nothing. Just a trail of water that lead into a drain. I flip onto my back no longer caring about the water, as I was already in need of a change of clothes.

"Oh holy shit." I began to calm myself down from the third or maybe fourth time of nearly dying. At this point, I've lost count of them all and have probably suppressed a couple of them. I get up and proceed towards the chatter that saved me, people coming back from the feast. I see Harry, Ron, and Hermione front and center while students are staring at where I saw Ginny had stood. Her halloween prank.

I hear Malfoy speak up and read the red glistening writing on the wall aloud as I read along, "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened? Enemies of the Heir beware?" His eyes fixed on me and angry slipped on his face, which he quickly turned onto Hermione. "You'll be next, Mudbloods." His was flushed with anger and yet a sadistic smile was painted on his face as he looked at the Cat's fate. I quickly got the feeling this wasn't a joke. If it was, it was cruel.

I frowned and shook my head, realizing no one else besides Malfoy had noticed me for once, I took advantage and slipped away as I hear the angry then sorrow filled voice of Mr. Flinch behind me. I needed Madame Pomfrey now. I mutter aloud on my way to her wing,

"Cause I smell blood..."
