Breaking Solstice PART 2

Chapter 4

That evening, Caden and Stella walk back to the Ezekiel family's front patio and join the rest of the family. Cindy and Kelly are also on the patio playing with Orion and Ranessa. This time Cindy is holding Orion and Kelly is holding Ranessa.

Kelly: hey! You guys are back.

Stella: yes we are. *meaning it as a joke* You guys didn't drop them (Orion and Ranessa) on their heads while we were gone, right?

Cindy: *also meaning it as a joke* just because it happened to us doesn't mean it'll happen to them

Stella: *giggles and rolls eyes*

Yan to Caden and Stella: so, did you guys break a lot of stuff? *winks*

Caden: *laughs* maybe.....

Stella: Yan, Uh Uh!

Yan: *laughs as he continues reading space magazine*

Caden and Stella then walk to Cindy and Kelly.

Stella: *to Cindy and Kelly* ok guys, I want my babies back!

Cindy and Kelly giggle and hand both Orion and Ranessa to Stella as Stella holds Orion in one arm and Ranessa in the other arm. After a few minutes of holding her babies, Stella's phone then vibrates and see it is a text from Summer. Caden senses Stella's phone and takes Orion and Ranessa from her while he holds them. Stella then remembers she accidentally forgot to call her parents (because of her giving birth to Orion and Randssa, the Neptunians attacking and her transformation into an ExtraTerrestrial) and let them know she and Caden are "home from Hawaii". Stella then thinks of an idea on what to say to her parents on why couldn't call them. Stella then calls her parents and tells them they had a few flight delays to cover up the fact she gave birth and transformed into an alien.  Caden and Stella walk inside and let the rest of the family and Cindy and Kelly know Arnie and Summer are on their way.

Zac: so in order to take the form of an earthling, you really need to focus on the power. Really focus on changing your complexion and eye color.

Cindy: ooohh I cant wait to see how you guys change forms

Stella then takes a deep breath and focuses. Stella focuses hard on taking the form of a human. At first, Stella gets it right for a few seconds then changes back to her new alien form.

Zac: it's alright Stella. This is a very easy power to learn. It was easy for Caden, Ada, Eddie and Ezra to learn when we first came to earth in 1947. It was also easy for Yan, Leah and Livia and Linny. Try a few more times.

Stella focuses harder again and but messes up again.

Stella: damnit! What if I don't succeed in time? They will see my new form and have questions and think something is wrong with me.

Caden: Starlight, dad just said this is an easy power to learn. Just try a few more times. Lemme show you

Caden then quickly switches from his alien to human form. Then from his human form back to alien and back to human again.

Kelly: so cool. Reminds me when he first shows us he's not of this world

Stella: I know right? That was a fun night. Ok, gotta focus on learning this ability.

Stella finally focuses and successfully takes the form of a human. Stella then gets the hang of the power and has officially learned to turn from alien to human.

Ada: see! You got it!

Zac to the rest of the family: ok everyone, human forms! And as usual, keep it a low profile that we aren't of this planet. When Arnie and Summer get here, just pretend it's another normal day on earth.  Leave it up to Stella to explain things to them, Alright?

The entire Ezekiel family use their powers to take forms of humans. Stella then senses Arnie and Summer are almost at the house since aliens have the ability to sense far away things. The rest of the Ezekiel family then leave the room. Stella then walks to the window and looks outside.

Stella: they're almost here. I'm a little nervous to see them.

Caden: *wrapping his arms around Stella* I'm sure they are too, it's been awhile since you guys seen each other. You'll be alright, I promise. Come here.

Caden then holds Stella close as Stella holds Caden close and lays on his chest. Meanwhile outside, Arnie and Summer park their car and walk to the front patio of the house.
