Chapter 8

Zac and Leah then leave for Luyten again for a few days and gather one more witness named Barrett. Caden and Stella walk outside and meet them.

Zac to Caden: how many witnesses are at the house right now?

Caden: about 20 and most of them are good friends of ours. Should that be enough?

Zac: we hope so, I'm just proud you guys did your best to find as many as you guys can.

Barrett: so it looks like we're all on Janakolra's list to be slaughtered. Thousands of years on the run and now you brought me to witness more trouble. Some friend you are, Zac.

Zac: you know we're only doing this to help the family. Come meet everyone.

Barrett: I just told you, if it comes to a fight then I will not stand against the Luyturians.

Zac: we don't think it will even come to a fight.

Barrett: I can't trust that. I'll be in the backyard. *runs to and teleports to the backyard*

Stella: what an asshole! Manners much?

Leah: he's not really a big people person. And he really isn't the nicest but he could help us out abit.

Stella: I guess *rolls eyes at Barrett*

That evening, Cindy and Kelly come over and see the witnesses are showing everyone their special powers. The 3 Kepler sisters show everyone their fire bending and how they have control over the mind and make people hallucinate. The witnesses from icy exoplanet Oggle, have the special ability to freeze things and control ice. The Jupiter witnesses have basic alien abilities and the Saturn witnesses have the ability to produce golden sparkles out of their hands, turn things golden and shapeshift into tall golden aliens. Caden then holds Stella close as they watch the witness's gifts in amazement.

Stella: almost reminds me when you first taught me about our kind.

Caden: oh the memories. *whispers* but they're abilities aren't as beautiful and special as you are, Starlight beauty.

Caden and Stella then share more blissful kisses. Elmer than approaches Caden and Stella.

Cindy: all this is so amazing! There's so many more kinds of beings.

Kelly: I want to be an extraterrestrial now!

Elmer: Caden, why didn't you tell any of us that Stella has a Solar shield?

Stella: a solar shield?

Caden: it's another very rare otherworldly power not many of us have. It's a rare defensive power.

Stella: *reads Caden's mind* you didn't even know I have a shield ability. Wow, this is exciting!

Cindy: looks like we're gonna learn more cool things about otherworldly beings. Hey Stella, do you think we'd be able to transform.

Stella: as you guys saw before, it's a big decision. You really got to think it through and see if you wanna give up your Earth life.

Kelly: seems like your loving the otherworldly life.

Stella: I sure am. Being with Caden is the best part

Caden then blushes and kisses Stella.

Elmer: so about Stella's shield power, it's a very special ability to have.

Nim then sneaks up behind Stella but Stella quickly senses it and electrocutes Nim.

Nim: oh wow, I'm impressed. She really does have a shield power.

Caden: I told you guys she's an amazing woman.

Then all the sudden, 2 more Luytian aliens run through the dark forest as the Ezekiels run to see who they are. They are 2 more friends of Zac and Leah's

Zac: Yra, Kurt, didn't expect you guys to follow us here.

Stella: what are you guys doing here?

Yra: we heard the Luyturians are coming for you guys, but we will not let you guys stand alone, so we decided to travel here and join you guys.

Zac: well whatever they told you, we did not commit the crime they are accusing us of.

Yra: luckily, we don't care what you guys did.

Kurt: we've waited thousands of years to fight them. So this is our chance to get our revenge

Zac: we don't even plan to fight them. We don't want to fight!

Yra: what a shame, Janakolra and her witnesses are gonna be very disappointed. That bitch is all about fighting and violence. She always enjoys herself a good fight.

Back inside the house, everyone is discussing the upcoming fight with the Luyturians. Orion and Ranessa then feel a little overwhelmed with so many people in the house and talking about the Luyturians coming so Caden and Stella take them back to their little cottage Ada and Leah got for them. The family then calms the children down by stargazing.

Stella: we see you guys are a little overwhelmed. Your father and I are abit overwhelmed too. So let's take our minds off of this for abit. Let's do some stargazing.

Ranessa: *looks up to the night sky* the stars are so beautiful! I wish Orion and I can see as far as you guys can.

Caden: how about you guys focus on a part of the sky and tell us what you guys can see.

Ranessa and Orion look far into the night sky but not as far as normal aliens can. Orion and Ranessa can only see a portion of what they see around them and in the sky.

Ranessa: I can see a little bit of the alpha Centauri! One of the nearest stars to here.

Caden: that is an amazing creation in the sky, and Orion, what do you see?

Orion looks into the direction of the Proxima Centauri.

Orion: I can see abit of the Proxima Centauri. Wow, look at all those little stars around it! What can you see Mom and Dad? What's up there?

Stella: I can see a part of the andromeda galaxy. That's the galaxy closest to the Milky Way.

Ranessa: that's my middle name! It's so cool my middle name is the same as a galaxy! What else can you see, Mom?

Stella then looks to the Hyades Star Cluster

Stella: I can now see the hyades star cluster. So beautiful.

Caden: *grabbing Stella's hand* remember when we saw that up close, Starlight?

Stella: yes I do. Such a beautiful memory.

Caden and Stella hold each other close as they stare into the Hyades Star Cluster from Earth.

Orion: you guys been near the Hyades Star cluster?!

Stella: yes we have. And I know what your gonna say next Orion, your gonna ask if we can visit.

Caden: we will visit space one day. Once we're done with all what's going on, we will take you guys out to see space.

Ranessa: why cant we just leave now?

Stella: because, The Luyturians will get to us quicker and they will follow us and possibly start a war on Luyten.

Orion and Ranessa gasp in fear

Stella: don't worry you guys, we have everything under control. Just focus on the beautiful night sky

Orion and Ranessa stand close to Caden and Stella as Caden and Stella hold hands and hold Orion and Ranessa close.
