Breaking Solstice PART 2

Chapter 6

The next day, Caden and Stella are out in the snowy forest glade teaching Orion and Ranessa about their powers and how they are half alien. The only powers Ranessa has is telekinetic powers, mental shield, ability to read only dreams and emotions and metal bending. The only powers Orion has is lightning bending, mercury reproduction, mind reading, and teleportation. The powers they both have are tactile thought projection, ability to run super fast but not quite supersonic speed, ability to look into far away places only on the planet they are on and electrocution. Orion and Ranessa catch snowflakes in their palms and show Caden and Stella.

Ranessa: Mom, Dad, look! I caught some snowflakes!

Orion: I caught more!

Stella: looks like you guys caught the same amount to me. They're beautiful. How about you guys show us how far you can shoot lightning.

Ranessa to Orion: I'll race you! *starts running*

Orion: hey wait up!

Ranessa to Orion: betcha I can jump higher than you! 

Ranessa and Orion race each other to see who can shoot lightning further. Caden and Stella smile as they watch. Ranessa runs faster and jumps before Orion can. Orion then jumps after Ranessa. Ranessa then rises higher in the air than Orion. They both test out their electrical powers by shooting small lightning bolts but as they're in the air, Daniella, Caden's cousin from Luyten, sees Ranessa and Orion and mistakes them for earth turned immortal children. Earth turned Immortal children are dangerous alien children and a threat to the Luyturians and their laws. Ranessa and Orion look back at Daniella and run back to Caden and Stella and hold onto them. Orion runs to Caden as Ranessa runs to Stella.

Orion: who is that?

Caden: it's my cousin from Luyten. What is she doing here?

Stella sees that Daniella looks frightened but doesn't know why

Stella: Daniella!!

Daniella then looks at Caden and Stella like they should be ashamed of themselves. Daniella then runs off into the woods.

Stella: kids, stay here with your father, I'm gonna go talk to cousin Daniella.

Orion and Ranessa then huddle close and hold onto Caden as Stella uses her super sonic speed to catch up to Daniella. Stella then senses where Daniella has ran and teleports to a nearby cliff but sees Daniella is nowhere to be found. The next day, Zac ends a call with Jenny, another cousin from Luyten.

Zac: Jenny told Daniella she should come reconcile with us. What do you guys think upset her?

Caden: were not sure. We were just out as a family teaching Orion and Ranessa about their powers and our kind.

Stella: I wish she would've let me speak to her and just tell us what was the matter

Zac: I wouldn't worry about it too much. After all, she is family. She will come around. *puts arm around Leah*

Leah then lays on Zac's shoulder and rubs Zac's chest as Zac holds Leah close and plays with her hair. The day goes on as Orion plays with his space action figures and Ranessa draws a picture of a galaxy.

Stella then looks at Ranessa's drawing of a galaxy.

Stella: wow, that's an amazing drawing, sweetie. It's very true otherworldly beings learn very quickly.

Ranessa: are we gonna see any of these (galaxies) soon?

Stella: yes you will. When we feel it's time to travel to Luyten.
