Songs I listened to while making this chapter:

Like it is (Trap nation version) - Zara Larsson

Look Alive - Drake

Undefeated - Brooklyn Queen

Nicole's POV

I turned on my Bluetooth earphones and instantly hear one of my favorite songs,

"I do the dab then I dab again,

Not by myself no i'll grab a friend,

Now Milly Rock, Milly rock,

I might take it back do the diddy bop,

I'm really hot, really hot, really hot,

I beat the baby and then I stop,

I rollie I rollie and then i drop,

Reverse it, Reverse it back to the top."

I practice my dancing routine for about 30 minutes before I text Tiffany and Leah.

Me: Need a ride I'm at the gym at my house

Tiffany: Ok, were on our way Chels had to run some "errands"

I laugh to myself, Chels was Tiffany's older sister. Her name was Chelsea but we call her by her nickname. Her "errands" were to go out with different boys every week. She usually drove us to school Oakland High.

Us meaning me, Tiffany and Leah. We have been friends since middle school and we met at hip hop dance school we all went to. Now we went to a new and improved dance class.

I had to practice for about 2 hours everyday with or without my team, Banging Beatz, I was the captain of our time so I had to take most of the responsibility of keeping my team stable for the Championships competition.

We were going against our rivals Power Surge, and their captain was also the biggest bully on the planet. Tamara Russell went to our school so she was always trying to find a way to make us look like losers.

A loud honking brings me back to reality.

This Girl.

I text her to stop honking

Me: Girl! Stop honking I'm freakin' coming out

Tiffany: Well then hurry up and get your ass out or were gonna be late!

Me: I'm coming, sheesh

I quickly change my clothes, grab my bag, and make my way to my little sister's room."Abigail, get out of your room or I'm leaving."

 " Stop calling me Abigail, it's Abby."

I roll my eyes " Whatever, just hurry up."

"I don't know what to wear." She complains

"You do know that you're going to school and not a party, right."

"Still,"

 She takes another 10 minutes and half the time Tiffany and Leah are honking the freakin car.

I get in the car and Bella is barking like crazy, Bella is Tiffany's dog.

We drop Abby off at Westview Elementary and Chels drops us off at Oakland High.

I run to my locker and get my Biology books out, but I almost drop my books when I close my locker Tamara is standing in front of me with her two "Side chicks",

"Holy Shit, you trying to give me a heart attack or what."

"Yes, actually I am."

This bitch and her cockiness

"You're so cocky," I murmured

"What was that?"

"Nothing."

"You know I'd slap you but that would be animal abuse," she snorted and sashayed away.

This fucking bitch

"She's just a witch, try to ignore her," Leah says from behind me

"More like a bitch." I snort

Suddenly the bell rings again giving us less than 1 minute to get to class.

"Nicole after school can you hang out with me and Lukas? You can bring along Archie." Tiffany asks me.

"I don't know I want to practice our dance routine and Archie is always busy," I reply

"C'mon. Please you can practice after with me and Leah we will all go to your house."

"Fine."

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I get to class I'm out of breath.
I walk to my chair, take out my book, and start to take notes when someone walks into class.
"Class we have a new classmate. His name is Nathan Collins and he just arrived here from New York."
A chill goes down my spine when he looks at me. I could've sworn I've seen him before.
He looked handsome in his defined cheekbones. He had soft Arched eyebrows, he's Almond-shaped sea rover eyes were gorgeous, and his tousled dark brown hair. You could see his muscles straining through the fabric of his shirt. His black leather jacket and tight black jeans made him look even sexier than he already was. I could smell his minty cologne as he walked past me and took his seat behind me.
 Our teacher handed the front row papers for a quiz and told them to pass it down. I turned to give him a paper. "Here's your paper." Our fingers touched as I handed him the paper, and electricity shot up my arm.
No this can't be happening. I am not attracted to him. Gotta think of something to distract me from his blazing hot looks. That Leather jacket. Please. Might've been stylish in the 1800s, but know the only men who were flouncy shirts also have a collection of heels and handbags to match. And his hair. He totally needs a haircut. And the pants?
Oh. Who was I kidding? Nathan was as masculine as pickup trucks and Stetsons.
That was the first chapter do ya'll like it?
