Juniper's Tale

-Chapter 6-

"FINALLY!!!" Jessica exclaimed. "NO MORE SCHOOL!!!"

"For today." Sapphire pointed out, "We still have 4 days left"

"Don't ruin our mood Saph," Ruby said as she rolled her eyes.

"So who did you like your first day at HSGG?" Monica asked as they got onto the fairy tram to go back home.

"It was really... cool. Nothing like I've ever known, after all I was homeschooled most of my life." Juniper replied. She smiled to herself at the dynamic and chemistry these friends had together. She was happy that she got to be a part of their group.

"So what do we do now?" She asked, hoping to spend more time with these people.

"Everyday we go home and start our homework right away, so we can get a head start" Sapphire stated. All of the other girls looked at her incredulously with their eyes wide open.

"Ignore her Juniper, we can all go to my house and do it together" Ruby said to everyone as they walked down their street.

"After we eat, though, right?" Jessica replied laughing.

"Duh, who do you think I am?" Ruby said back as they walked up her house's stairs.

They all walked into her house and put their bags down as Ruby, Jessica and Sapphire started to make sandwiches. Monica and Juniper sat down on the diamond shaped carpet. "Hey, I just realized, we haven't given you your nickname yet" Monica's eyes widened while saying so.

"OH YEAH!!!" Jessica screamed from the kitchen.

"A nickname?" Juniper replied confused

"Ya, we all have "nicknames" it's weird and Jessica started it but..." Ruby said while coming out with a couple of sandwiches and chocolate milk "it's a tradition".

"So what are your's" Juniper asked curiously

"Rubs'," Ruby repiled, setting down the food.

"Jess" Jessica said with a grin as she inhaled a whole sandwich and a glass of chocolate milk.

"Moni," Monica said, sighing. She picked up and pointed an end towards Sapphire who looked distracted "Your turn"

"Oh it's Saph," Sapphire said, coming to her senses and picking up a sandwich.

"So you see you NEED a shorter version of your name to officially become a part of our group" Jessica Smiling like a maniac.

"Um, ok what is my nickname?" Juniper replied sounding a bit amused.

"I'm trying to decide between Jun, Juni, or just Pur" Jessica replied, reaching for another sandwich.

"I like Jun the best," Juniper replied after thinking for a couple seconds "Reminds me of the human month of june, the month I was found by my nymph family".

Many hours of eating, talking, and "doing homework" later, Jun, Jess, Moni, and Saph all went to their own homes.
