Juniper's Tale

-Chapter 5-

She took a deep breath and pushed the wide golden doors open. She walked into a dimly lit auditorium. She looked around and saw a few other new students waiting on mushroom shaped chairs.

"MALINDA!" A tiny fairy bellowed.

Juniper jumped. It had such a loud voice for such a tiny creature. Juniper decided to sit down next to a girl with silver hair and deep blue eyes. "Hello, my name is Juniper, are you new too" Juniper asked the girl, hoping she could make another friend. Everyone here was nice so far, so why shouldn't she be too.

"Um, ya duh. Why else would I be here." the girl said in a very snotty voice. "And my name is Annalee goddess of luster, and you should know me, my mom is the one and only, Ailsa the greatest goddess to have ever existed. I mean other than the queen of course."

"Really what does she do?" Juniper replied, now weary of this girl.

"OMC! She is the goddess of aurelian. How do you not know her" She gave Juniper a dirty look. "Oh wait, you're the girl who doesn't have any godly parents right? The one that only got in because of luck?"

"OMC! She has to be the 'mean girl' of my schoolhood career, if that's even a thing." She thought. Thankfully she was next.

"JUNIPER!" the fairy screamed next. Juniper quickly got out of her seat and ran away from Annalee like her seat was on fire. She walked through the metallic blue curtain separating the waiting room from the empty dome shaped room. She walked towards a table in the center and sat down on a star shaped chair.

"Hello, my name is Celestia, and I am the head counselor of HSGG". "How are you enjoying your time here so far?"

"I'm doing ok. It is a big school though, kind of confusing" Juniper said dazzled by her counselor. She was an elf like the ones Juniper was used to in the forest. However, she was blue and not green tinged.

"I'm sure it will get better. Now what are three things that you like, what inspirations you?"

"I love jewels and how they sparkle" She paused, " I also like trees and strawberries"

"Very cool, now what are you most interested in?"

" I really care about the environment and want to help stop the horrible changes happening down on Earth."

"Hmmmmm..... Ok I have to options for you. You can be a plant major or jewel major. However based on your response I think plant makes the most sense. But it is your decision"

"I think I would really enjoy being a plant major." Juniper said remembering that her homeroom teacher was also the plant teacher. At least she knows the teacher will be nice and helpful.

"Ok, go to room 256, your teacher is Miss Atheia. Your class is going on right now. Just knock."

"Ok thank you!" Juniper said as she got out of the mushroom and made her way to class again.

She found room 256 again and knocked. Miss Atheia answered and let her in.

"Are you in my special class?" She asked.

"Yes, the counselor told me to come here." Juniper replied.

" Class, please welcome our new student Juniper. And be nice." She said as she looked at one student in particular. "You can sit down anywhere you like"

Juniper went to a seat in front because that was the only one left. "Ok let's continue with photosynthesis" Miss Atheia remarked when she moved to the board.

Hello! I'm sorry for not updating. I wrote the first part of this, then lost motivation. Then life kind of took over and finals had me swamped. Anyway, I gathered up my creativity and motivation and finished this chapter. As always don't be shy to point out mistakes or how I can improve. That is why I put my story here.

On another note we gained a lot more readers. I don't even know why since I haven't updated in months. We now have 52 people! Wow 1/2 of 100. I'm honored.
