Juniper's Tale

-Chapter 2-

Juniper was nervous but excited as she was moving into her house. This was the first time that she would be interacting with other goddesses. She would also be entering a school just for immortals.

When it was finally time, Juniper took the fairytram, since she didn't know how to cast the transportation spell yet. She got to her neighborhood and saw about 12 peculiar looking houses. One looked like a vine, another like a gem, another like an animal, and so on. Juniper's house was located between the plants and gems. Her house looked like a strawberry red evergreen tree.

Juniper walked into her house and gasped in delight. The walls were her favorite color, a pale green. There were five rooms in the trunk of the tree, a bedroom, bathroom, guest bedroom, living room, and a kitchen. It had very few pieces of furniture because the builders wanted to let Juniper customized the house by herself. Juniper did not know how to make furniture yet, but there was a couch so she slept there.

The first day she explored her house while trying to get used to it. The second day though Juniper realized that she should introduce herself to her neighbors.

She had two choices, the vine house or the red gem house. She decided to go to the red gem house first. She baked a quick cupcake in her strawberry stove and headed out. Juniper was tentative as she knocked on the door of the gem house. A young girl, her age, with bright red hair, dark skin, darkish-blue eyes and a blue dress studded with rubies, answered the door. "Hello, my name is Juniper I am a new goddess. I just moved in next door yesterday."

"Oh! Hello Juniper, my name is Ruby. Why don't you come in?" Ruby said as she sidestepped to let Juniper in. "Welcome to my humble abode!" she exclaimed and opened her arms wide to show Juniper the house.

"OH! And those are my friends, Monica goddess of coral and tidal waves, Jessica goddess of poppies and food, and Sapphire goddess of justice and jade." She gestures to the group of girls sitting on the rug. Then pointing to herself she says, "And I am the goddess of... well rubies, and diamonds"

"Hello Monica, Jessica, and Sapphire" Looking around at the new faces, she tried to memorize them. Monica with her blonde to light blue hair, and ocean blue eyes. Jessica with chocolate brown hair, and yellow tinted hazel eyes. Sapphire with straight jet black hair, and sapphire eyes.

" Hello, my name is Juniper goddess of enchantments, jewels, evergreen trees, and strawberries." She then looked down at the cupcake that she had made. "I would have made more if I realized there were going to be more than one person here."

"Don't worry, we can all share it," said Jessica

"Are you sure you can handle not eating all of it by yourself " Monica sarcastically teased her friend.

They all laughed and cut up the cupcake into 5 slices. "I think you will be a great addition to the team," Ruby said and threw her arm over Juniper's shoulder.
