I'm happy now
Even with bumps
Even with a little bow
I'll take as many jumps.
Even if I'm tired
And just need sleep
Life keeps me wired
It's not all that deep.
I just can't seem to leave
Maybe I'd change things
Just to avoid a grieve
And the annoying clings.
Even if the anxiety hits
And I seem a bit off
I won't throw any fits
Or any severe cough.
When I'm alone in bed
I wish you'd join me
But that being said
I hope you see.
I won't lie that I sting
And miss some terribly
But I trust what you bring
Because pain is momentarily.
Just ignoring some upset
And keeping my eyes low
Because I'm happy we met
And got to say hello.
