I watched from behind a tree as the beautiful girl turned to look towards where I hid "Who's there?" She called, as she took a step towards where I was hidden.
She couldn't see me though due to the face that I had an invisibility spell cast over myself which was allowing me to hide in plain sight without being seen.
She turned back to gaze in wonder at the frosty meadow before her, and I gave a soft sigh of relief once her back was turned.
I wasn't looking where I was going and must have stepped on a loose twig, because she turned around again.
"Hello?" She called, and I held my breath as she walked over to where I stood, then turned around upon seeing nothing and beginning to walk back the way she had come.
I slid out from behind the tree, and turned around then made my way back the way I had come making my way back towards my hidden palace in the darkest part of the winter woods.
