episode twenty one.
despite many arguments by one rachel berry I was in fact performing the solo at nationals. she was going to use it as a re-audition for nyada and mr schue was about to give it to her when majority of the club spoke out against it,
"we'll be kicking off our 'vintage' theme with the legendary jim steinman's 'paradise by the dashboard light'. rachel will do the solo, 'it's all coming back to me now'." mr schue began but santana shook her head no.
"mr schue rachel does not deserve that solo. she has always had a bad attitude, and yeah she can sing but every time roma sings she blows the roof of the place. romana deserves that solo, she hasn't once done a malicious thing to this club, has always been the main support in this room and held us together on more than one occasion. just cause berry blew nyada doesn't mean she should get this solo. if anything that should definitely stop her from getting this solo. so I say instead of you decide we put it to a vote as a glee club. all those in favour of roma doing the solo hands up." once she said this everyone's hand shot up even kurt's despite being rachel's best friend.
mr schue does his best to keep the solo with rachel when sue interrupts, "I agree with sand bags. roma deserves the solo and would kill that song. and last time the glee club got to nationals rachel and finn cost you the win. because if they never kissed you would have won, everyone knows it." sue says shrugging and after many more failed attempts he caved.
"okay so romana will perform the solo". he says with a apologetic look towards rachel.
and now we've arrived at nationals, kim and her boy friend payed for our hotel and flights, so this time we have more room, though me and mike just booked our own room. during nationals week we have a few viewings of apartments and have already been to a good selection.
today we have been practicing the choreography and I have mainly been helping the others with it, as I was going over it with tana I hear a raised voice and turn to see why. "...he's studying for geography while we're trying to rehearse! it's bogus!" sam shouts trying to get at noah as mr. schuester holds them apart.
