Isang malakas na buntong hininga ang narinig ko kaya inangat ko ang tingin ko sa kanya.
"Fine. I have to go now. Xav is waiting for me. Isa pa mag-eempake pa ako."
She kissed my cheeks and bid her goodbye. I stare at her until she closes the door then I continue doing my work.
I know Eve was trying her luck for persuading me coming with them. Alam kong alam niya ang dahilan kung bakit di ako sasama. She should know na kahit anong alok niya ay di talaga ako sasama.
It's been 3 years. Alam ko sa sarili ko na nakamove-on nako. Sadyang busy lang talaga these past few days dahil sa dami ng clients. I'm not even sure kung pupunta siya cause he's a busy person pero close friend niya din kasi si Xavier. Ewan ko ba.
I continue sketching new designs for my upcoming clients. I stare at my wristwatch and realize that it's almost lunch. I texted Lysa that she can have her lunch and she can go home early since I won't meet any client this afternoon.
After sending that message I receive a call from her.
"Yes Lys?"
"Uhm ma'am sorry I forgot to tell you that there's a new client. He ask me for an appointment at Black Brewed Cafe , 3:00 this afternoon. I'm sorry ma'am tinanggap ko po kasi wala naman kayong schedule ngayong hap—"
"It's fine Lys. What's the name of the client by the way?"
"Jairus Monteallegre po ma'am. He is a doctor from—"
"Uh sige mamaya nalang tayo mag-usap after mong mag-lunch."
"Ok ma'am."
Binaba ko ang phone ko at bumuntong hininga na malakas.
